There's no doubt they have inside connections and are plain as day censoring things that they disagree with, medically and politically. And Twitter/Instagram will follow suit.

We desperately need a platform out there that truly supports free speech and won't pull this shit.

And quite frankly, someone should push for legislation to keep the greedy hands of the government away from such online presences.

It starts at the top. Then a the top across the board. The tops in politics, the leaders in these social media behemoths, the leaders in the media. They all have no issue at crapping on the constitution to assist them in pushing what they want and eliminating what they don't like.

I don't think the question from Doocy was loaded or inaccurate. Whether they have folks on the payroll looking for things to censor or if they are relying on say FB's algorithms to do the same. Point is, they ARE working to get things censored, and I have no doubt they do the same with connections in the media.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki forcefully defended the Biden administration’s growing offensive on vaccine-related misinformation spreading on Facebook and other social media platforms.

“Our biggest concern, and frankly I think it should be your biggest concern, is the number of people who are dying around the country because they are getting misinformation that is leading them to not take a vaccine,” Psaki said during Friday's daily press briefing. “Young people, old people, kids, children … a lot of them are being impacted by misinformation.”

Psaki’s defense was in response to a question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy, who framed the Biden administration’s concern about bad actors online as “spying” on Americans’ social media usage.

“For how long has the administration been spying on people’s Facebook profiles looking for vaccine misinformation?” Doocy asked, referencing Psaki’s comments a day prior that roughly a dozen people on Facebook were responsible for the bulk of vaccine misinformation on the social network.

Psaki called the characterization “a loaded and inaccurate question.” She said the White House flagging concerning posts to platforms like Facebook is similar to outreach to news outlets when they take issue with particular coverage.

“This is publicly open information, people sharing information online, just as you are all reporting information on your news stations,” she said during a testy exchange in which the pair talked over one another at times.

Rather than colluding with Facebook, this appears more to be Biden Administration/government using "COVID Misinformation" as a red herring to strongarm FB into censoring whatever the administration deems misinformation. A toehold in the door to government censorship.

I guess the cozy marriage of Marxists on the left and social media is about to take a turn.
