Why can't they or why won't they, bring Anthony Fauci on national television, bring up the subject of masks & his prior emails and then not so long ago discussions - of himself pointing out the effectiveness and what they be used on, or by whom?

LA County Reinstates Mask Mandate

Well, we warned it could happen, especially in deep-blue California. And with the non-stop theatrics about the COVID Delta variant, which is neutralized by all three vaccines, Los Angeles County decided to reimpose the mask mandate. Even those who have been vaccinated must wear the masks that even Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted are ineffective against the virus. So, is this following the science? Is it giving people a false sense of security? If the store-bought masks don’t work, what’s the point? Why are the experts peddling snail oil safety protocols? Faced with a distressing rise in coronavirus cases, Los Angeles County will again require residents to wear masks in indoor public spaces — regardless of their vaccination status.

The new order, which comes a little more than two weeks after the county recommended the same protocols as a precaution, will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. Saturday, according to the county’s health officer, Dr. Muntu Davis.

Some exceptions will apply, Davis said, but the order will be similar to the requirements that were in place prior to California’s June 15 reopening.

“We’re not where we need to be for the millions at risk of infection here in Los Angeles County, and waiting to do something will be too late given what we’re seeing now,” Davis told reporters Thursday.

So many in the medical field have stated that this virus may be like the flu and require yearly shots. But if this also is going to have to force us to mask up - will we be wearing masks on and off forever? :rolleyes:

During a portion of a statement on the county reinstituting its mask mandate broadcast on LA’s KNBC on Thursday, Los Angeles County Health Officer Dr. Muntu Davis stated that requiring everyone, regardless of whether or not they are vaccinated to wear a mask indoors is “much easier and universal and makes this a normal practice again,” and will hopefully lead to lower coronavirus numbers.

Davis said, “Our hope is that, with continued vaccination of people, as well as with masking by everyone indoors, which is much easier and universal and makes this a normal practice again, that we won’t see continued increases in the cases and we’ll start to start to see lower numbers.”

The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) warned Thursday nobody should relax in the face of future coronavirus threats, cautioning the strong likelihood that further, possibly more dangerous variants still lie ahead.

During a press briefing, Prof. Didier Houssin (https://www.pscp.tv/w/1jMJgpeYoRqxL), who heads the W.H.O. emergency coronavirus committee, said the current disposition of the pandemic is “not good,” despite it being 18 months since it was officially declared a public health emergency.

“We are still running to catch up with the virus and the virus is still running after us,” he said, stating the coronavirus’ continual evolution and the differences in approach to the pandemic of the W.H.O.’s member states are a “source of difficulty.”
