The viewerships of CNN and MSNBC have shrunk since former President Donald Trump disappeared from their screens as media experts warn of "credibility" issues with the networks.
Media Critic William Jacobson blamed the sudden drop in viewership on the inability of the networks to capitalise on "Trump hatred".
"The audience has disappeared because it never was loyal to CNN and MSNBC hosts, it was loyal to Trump hatred,” Mr Jacobson told Fox News.
"It's not hard to imagine executives at CNN and MSNBC saying nightly prayers that Trump runs for president in 2024."
Only 847,000 viewers stayed with MSNBC during the April to June quarter and even less remained with CNN whose audience shrunk to 654,000.
I agree. Their alleged "credibility' however started flying out the window around 2000, IMO. They had none to lose by the time Trump rolled around. What they did was throw off the veil of "credibility" they hid behind and went all in.
I also agree that Trump running in 2024, which he has stated he's going to, would be a wet dream for the MSM.
