I am interested to see what the forum thinks about this situation. -----> Belarus has been ruled by a dictator since 1996. Facing continuing protests, he allowed an election to be held. When he lost the election, he simply declared the outcome null and void. A journalist that supported the opposition was blamed and sentenced to death. Instead, the journalist and the opposition leader fled the country. The journalist was aboard a Ryanair flight headed from Athens to the capital of Lithuania. When the flight passed over Belarus, it was intercepted by a fighter jet and forced to land in Minsk. The journalist was taken off the flight and arrested. ---------> https://www.lrt.lt/en/news-in-english
