Top car officers have been warning about limited batteries, now NYT points out the batteries themselves are an environmental threat before and after.

Not only do the batteries become harmful waste. They all require the HEAVY USE of fossil fuels to develop, make, and use them in the manufacturing stages. Great amounts of Fossil Fuel electricity is required to make them, and later...destroy them.

And..as a side note. I heard yesterday. The CEO of a major Battery producer admitted it takes 25 to 40 minutes for STANDARD electric auto's to charge up. And slightly less for vehicles with larger batteries...THAT ARE FAR MORE EXPENSIVE as well.

ELECTRIC CARS DO NOT HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO REPLACE GASOLINE, OR DIESEL ENGINES UNLESS....Only those who earn OVER $400K a year CAN AFFORD THEM TOO!
And Joe Biden said...Nobody earning LESS will pay ONE CENT in taxes. But he also didn't admit. He SHOULD HAVE SAID....YOU WILL PAY MORE THAN ONE CENT! (Ooop's)

Don't forget all those fossil fuels it takes to generate the electricity to begin with. And in case anyone missed last Geb here in TX? Wholesale electricity isn't cheap.

There's no way the government wins this, much less us little people the government is going to bleed to pay for its folly.

The U.S. Government has no idea how to run a business, create jobs, or SAVE MONEY.

We always need to remember what Nancy Pelosi said..." We'll know what's in the Bill...after we Vote for it."
Same goes for the FED. The Government IS NOT A BUSINESS. Businesses are more successful, and only fail because THE FED GOT INVOLVED.
