A brazen team of motorcycle thieves rode four bikes out on an Indiana Harley-Davidson shop’s front door while the joint was closed, Kokomo police claim.
Security video posted to the central Indiana police department’s Facebook page shows roughly $95,000 worth of heavy metal thunder rolling out at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday
“All four individuals were wearing concealable clothing and motorcycle helmets,” Kokomo cops wrote on Facebook.
Police said the suspects took one 2020 Street Glide Special motorcycle and three 2021 Street Glide Special bikes.

“The suspects were able to start the motorcycles and ride out of the building through the main showroom doors,” cops said. “Surveillance footage showed the suspects fleeing southbound on State Road 931.”

The city of Kokomo is about an hour’s drive north of Indianapolis. Its famous residents have included TV presenter Tavis Smiley, and AIDS activist Ryan White and “60 Minutes” personality Steve Kroft.
Amateur sleuths on Facebook speculated on how the heist may have been executed. The most popular guess is that it was some sort of inside job. Cops say there could be a cash reward for useful clues.
Too bad that they did not think -- to walk in carrying BLM signs and smash the windows, spray hate cops graffiti on the walls and then ride away!
Because had they done so -they would be hailed as heroes and no follow-up police investigation would be called for...
