I'm DRY for a long time now. TIP a few for me. Scotch was my nemisis. I learned what it meant to lose an entire day in New Orleans in 1966 after a College Football Game where ALL MILITARY PERSONEL were invited (removed) to leave.
Seems some of the more frisky drinkers paid too much attention to College Cheerleaders.
Bourbin Street meant something different for me....IF I recall?????

I actually hated NOLA...was there again in 1989 to commission a ship on the West Bank at AVONDALE builders. Spent almost a year there. Lots of RED BEANS & RICE and only ONE try at CRAWFISH HEADS. THANKS BUT NO THANKS ON THAT.
Did develop a taste for Blackened Catfish with Hot sauce. Almost as hard as SCOTCH if I remember it right.
