As long as justice is served equally, no he shouldn't. But it's going to be hard to charge these people because their lawyers are going to cite all the BLM and Antifa people walking free. Trump might see that as injustice if they are charged more harshly. All I know is that it's a mess.

I totally agree with the unfairness, perhaps this will lead to postponed arrests since there has been no threat of double jeopardy?

Whatever happens though. Compounding the errors only makes things worse,.
