As expected, many of the early votes were cast in areas that tend to vote Democratic. Turnout was light in rural areas, which tend to be more conservative. These areas normally vote on election day. ---------------> https://www.ajc.com/politics/early-voting-ends-with-record-3m-georgia-voters-for-us-senate-runoffs/47HZD2AAXRDZDCHPJXKNZVKRTE/

Author of said article, Mark Niesse. Apparently admitted liar and cherry picker. And the AJC is just as guilty.
(ATLANTA)-In a recent article, the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Brad Schrade and Mark Niesse contradicted their paper’s own reporting by cherry picking data to attack the Secretary of State’s office. Ignoring the many times both Secretary of State’s officials and the Atlanta Journal Constitution itself quoted Secretary of State officials saying there were 250 elections investigations relating to all of 2020, the AJC used a quote from Governor Brian Kemp to claim the Secretary of State’s office was providing a misleading characterization of the number of elections investigations in Georgia.
“This is just sad,” said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “The cherry-picking of data, the blatant manipulation of the facts, and the ignoring of inconvenient reality sounds more like the election disinformation we’ve been fighting since Election Day, not the objective and honest media coverage we look for. AJC needs to think twice about whether they want to be a source of slanted reporting and click-bait nonsense or a reliable resource for people seeking truth.”

Now - that has NOTHING to do with what you posted.
I might even go as far as to say what you stated was on point.
I personally would rather reply to what you said or the facts within the article and discuss that.
Would you agree with that?
Also in the article:
But Republicans could make up ground with a strong showing on election day, as in the general election. For example, Trump and Perdue each won about 60% of in-person votes cast on Nov. 3. Loeffler also benefited from election day voting in the 20-candidate Senate special election.
I think we'll see as massive turnout on the day of the election, given the importance of the outcome.
fj1200 - I did talk to Jeff and he's gonna try to vote 60,000 times if he can. :coffee:

Nice. That juuuuuuuuust might put Loeffler and Perdue over the top. Where I live I can't swing a dead cat without hitting warnock/ossoff signs but riding in the country the sign poll switches back pretty quickly. But damn, either way I'm tired of political ads. I thought moving to a solid red state would save me from all of that but the past few years has changed that.
Is Jeff still riding?

Yup, he'll ride till death. And now his latest thing is snakes! He's got a few snakes and one is getting huge already, like 6ft? He says it may grow to 20 feet. Yikes! Not for me.
The race is sickening me 800+ miles away!

Good man. :thumb: Speaking of snakes a buddy of mine was doing a home inspection and the owner asked if he had a problem with snakes. He thought he should just burn the place to the ground.

Insane! Until I think of an inspector telling me that I have a brown recluse infestation. Yes, always that one for me, gives me shivers and nightmares. I'd burn it and move as well. Anywhere gonna infest me with those little bastards are gonna come back!

Does he prefer his snakes with Kansas City style red barbecue sauce or the Carolina style mustard based sauce?

Where my wife is from, snakes are known as lunch and spiders as appetizers. Well, actually tarantulas. Did you know that roasted tarantula legs are a delicacy? Everything in nature has a purpose. Knowledge is better than fear. Mankind was meant to have dominion over other creatures, not the other way around. Millions of people wake up every day in the Amazon with creatures far more dangerous and think nothing of it.

He does like his food with extra spices, I know that much! ;)

So you've likely been there, where she is from? Have you seen that crazy shit there? Did you eat any of it?
They may all very well have a great purpose in this world - but not in my house! Their purpose here better be to find the way the EFF out before they get murdered!

I have seen it. My father-in-law had some monkey stew. I know to pack some beef jerky before heading out into the remote areas. I may try it some day. My wife's family comes from a place called Marajo.
Indigenous Brazilians are incredibly good natured people. It's amazing to think that they once ate their enemies 500 years ago.

Marajó (Portuguese pronunciation: [maɾaˈʒɔ] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Portuguese)) is a large delta (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_delta) island in the state of Pará (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Par%C3%A1),[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maraj%C3%B3#cite_note-brit-1) Brazil. It is the main and largest of the islands in the Marajó Archipelago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maraj%C3%B3_Archipelago). The island is bordered by the mouth of the Amazon River (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_River) to the west and northwest, the Atlantic Ocean (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantic_Ocean) to the northeast and by the Pará River (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Par%C3%A1_River), a distributary (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributary) of the Amazon to the east.
