San Francisco has some of the strictest Covid lockdowns in the country yet their biggest killer is actually Fentanyl.

A record 621 people died of Fentanyl overdoses in “progressive” San Francisco this year compared to 173 Covid-19 deaths.

According to city data, people overdosing in San Francisco live in government-funded buildings for the homeless or low-income housing units. Many others died on sidewalks and parks around the city.

A record 621 people died of drug overdoses in San Francisco so far this year, a staggering number that far outpaces the 173 deaths from COVID-19 the city has seen thus far.

The crisis fueled by the powerful painkiller fentanyl could have been far worse if it wasn’t for the nearly 3,000 times Narcan was used from January to the beginning of November to save someone from the brink of death, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Saturday.

The data reflects the number of times people report using Narcan to the Drug Overdose Prevention and Education Project, a city-funded program that coordinates San Francisco’s response to overdose, or return to refill their supply. Officials at the DOPE Project said that since the numbers are self-reported, they are probably a major undercount.

Last year, 441 people died of drug overdoses — a 70% increase from 2018 — and 2,610 potential overdoses were prevented by Narcan, a medication commonly sprayed up the nose to reverse an opioid overdose, according to data from the city Medical Examiner’s office and the DOPE Project.

Robert E. Lee Statue Removed From US Capitol

The statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee was removed from the US Capitol Monday morning.

The statue, which resided next to a monument of George Washington for 111 years, will be moved to the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

Blackface-Klansman Governor Ralph Northam (VA) created a commission earlier this year to remove and replace the statue.

Each state is allowed to exhibit two statues in the Capitol and Northam’s commission voted to replace the Robert E. Lee statue with Barbara Rose Johns, a black civil rights activist.

“The Confederacy is a symbol of Virginia’s racist and divisive history, and it is past time we tell our story with images of perseverance, diversity, and inclusion,” Mr. Northam said in a statement. “I look forward to seeing a trailblazing young woman of color represent Virginia in the U.S. Capitol, where visitors will learn about Barbara Johns’ contributions to America and be empowered to create positive change in their communities just like she did.”

Good for Tulsi on this one! I've seen politicians, athletes & just powerful/famous people with money and connections. This should be being prioritized based on health. Elderly first along with people that are compromised. Nursing home patients.

IMO, the most vulnerable go first and then the necessary. Nursing homes and elderly go first. They have been getting hammered in both the infection and death rates since day one. After the vulnerable, all front line workers next, as they deal with the infections all the time.

I can understand a little tug of war between these first few groups - but no way celebrities and athletes and others in no danger should be moving up the list.

The CDC hasn't made a lot of friends this year, and deservedly so.

All these "news sources" are missing that "jacare" (alligator) is Brazilian slang for an unattractive person. Proud Boy Run Over By Black Lives Matter Activist Responds to Prosecutors Declining to Charge His Attacker

Prosecutors have declined to file charges against a Vancouver Black Lives Matter militant who followed the Proud Boys to a bar following a memorial for the Patriot Prayer member who had been murdered by Antifa in Portland — and ran over one of them with his vehicle.

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit, the victim, Shane Moon, expressed his outrage at the decision.

Moon, as well as other witnesses, say that it was a targeted attack due to his political beliefs. He was placed in intensive care following the attack — as he was bleeding from his brain, sustained damaged to his left temporal lobe, has a concussion and could not remember the impact.

Last week, the prosecutors office emailed him to let him know that they will not be charging the man who did it, Charles R. Holliday-Smith, 30.

Moon believes that he was not treated as a victim because of his political beliefs.

“I am angry. I feel like I was completely disregarded as the ‘victim’ in this case because of who I am. I fought for my country for years and don’t ask for much in return. I do, however, expect the legal system in this country to do their job and provide justice, which was not done in this case,” Moon told TGP. “I was left out of the loop from day one, being told that i would be receiving a phone call to setup a meeting with the Prosecutor, which never happened, or to call the Victims Assistance Unit with any questions, all attempts going unanswered and receiving one single phone call from the detective during this 3 month investigation. The one-sided hypocrisy has become so blatantly obvious it can no longer be denied, or ignored.”

As Gateway Pundit previously reported, Moon had just attended a memorial for the man who was murdered by Antifa member Michael Forest Reinoehl in August when he was hit.

Following the memorial, Moon and a group of his friends and Proud Boys went to a local bar down the street called Charlie’s. According to Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio, a man who appeared to be a member of Antifa was also at the bar and began taking photos and recordings of the people inside.

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker Bans Gatherings over 10 in ‘Private Homes’

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) announced another wave of restrictions taking effect prior to New Year’s, including a ban on gatherings over ten, with the restriction extending to “private homes.”

Baker announced the latest set of restrictions Tuesday (https://www.mass.gov/doc/covid-19-order-59/download), which will go into effect on Saturday, December 26 — the day after Christmas.

“We would like people to spend the next couple of weeks, between Christmas and sort of the week after New Year’s, as regularly as they possibly can just with those they live with,” (https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/every-option-is-on-the-table-will-baker-impose-additional-covid-restrictions/2263788/) Baker said.

The new restrictions revise capacity limits to ten people indoors and 25 outdoors, applying to both “private homes and event venues and public spaces,” per the order.

The order also limits restaurants to 25 percent of seating capacity. Similarly, places of worship, casinos, office spaces, retailers, libraries, arcades, gyms, museums, movie theaters, and close contact personal services will all be capped at 25 percent capacity as well.

According to Massachusetts Secretary of Health and Human Services Marylou Sudders, hospitals must postpone the bulk of elective surgeries as well.

NY AG James: Trump’s Martial Law Meeting ‘Is an Act of Sedition’

New York State Attorney General Letitia James said Wednesday on SiriusXM’s “The Dean Obeidallah Show” that President Donald Trump’s reported meeting with former national security adviser Mike Flynn, who has advocated for a declaration of martial law to redo the 2020 election, is an act of “sedition.”

James said, “The days of President Trump are closely coming to an end. And the reality is is that this is an act of sedition. This president is engaging in illegality, and the fact that he would even consider martial law is an affront to our values and to the Constitution. The people have spoken, and he should accept the outcome of the election, as opposed to trying to find fraud where none exists.”

Consumer Sentiment Tumbled in Late December

Consumer sentiment in the U.S. deteriorated in late December but remained above its November level, the University of Michigan’s survey of consumers showed Wednesday.

The biggest shift from the mid-month reading came in the current conditions gauge, reflecting the surge in infections following Thanksgiving weekend and the return of lockdowns.

The second and final December reading of the consumer sentiment index fell to 80.7 from the preliminary reading of 81.4 earlier in the month. In November, the index had fallen to 76.7.

Economists had expected a higher reading of 81.

Much of the gain compared with the prior month is due to Democrats becoming more hopeful, a shift that has outpaced Republicans turning negative.

“The improvement was due to a large and rapid partisan shift, with Democrats becoming much more positive and Republicans much more negative,” the survey’s chief economist, Richard Curtin, said.

The largest change was in long term business prospects, as twice as many Democrats as three months ago expected a continuous expansion over the next five years (54% up from 27%), while that same favorable expectation was nearly cut in half among Republicans (32% down from 60%).

Israel Leads World Vaccination Rates: Herd Immunity Three Months Away

Israel is vaccinating at a much faster rate than the UK and is set to overtake it in a matter of days, a new graph showed, with experts predicating that the country will have achieved herd immunity by Passover.

In only three days, Israel has achieved half the coverage of the UK, which was the first country to being a vaccine drive two weeks ago. The UK has so far inoculated 0.74 percent of the population with the first dose of the vaccine while Israel has injected 0.35 percent of the population.

President Trump Calls on Congress to Redo COVID Relief Bill; Demands $2000 Payments to Americans

President Trump gave an address Tuesday evening from the White House on the COVID relief bill in which he called on Congress to redo the $900 billion, 5593 pages long bill passed Monday night after months of negotiations by providing payments to Americans of $2000 per adult or $4000 per couple. The bill passed by the House and Senate contains payments of only $600 per adult American but giving up to $1800 for the families of illegal aliens married to American citizens. The address was posted to Twitter.

Trump read off a list of millions and billions of dollars in the bill designated for foreign nations and special interests, comparing that to the $600 for Americans. Trump also called on more relief for small businesses, especially restaurants.

Trump closed the speech saying, “Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries, lobbyists and special interests while sending the bare minimum to the American people who need it. It wasn’t their fault, it was China’s fault, not their fault. I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2000 or $4000 for a couple. I’m also asking Congress to immediately get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items from this legislation. And to send me a suitable bill or else the next administration will have to deliver a COVID relief package. And maybe that administration will be me, and we will get it done. Thank you very much.”

The bill passed the Senate Monday night, 92-6. Six Republican senators voted against the bill, Marsha Blackburn (TN), Rand Paul (KY), Rick Scott (FL), Ron Johnson (WI), Mike Lee (UT) and Ted Cruz (TX).

The $900 billion stimulus package COVID-19 “relief” bill is exactly what one would expect from a dysfunctional, tone-deaf Congress: a pork-filled cluster filled with anything and everything that has nothing to do with the coronavirus pandemic or relief.

And in the swampiest thing ever, the bill, which is combined with a $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill, is 5,593 pages long, or 5,583 pages too many, was given to lawmakers six hours before a vote to review what exactly is in it (hint: more pork than a Tyson Foods plant).

It harkens back to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) once explaining that a bill needed to be passed in order to find out what was in it. In a related story, our government is broken.

The topline from the bill says a mere $600 per adult and $600 per child goes to those eligible, which is half of what adults received in another relief package passed earlier this year (the per-child payment was $500). Poll: Dead Heat in Georgia Senate Runoff

Republican incumbent Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are virtually tied with their Democrat challengers in the upcoming Georgia runoff, according to an InsiderAdvantage and FOX 5 Atlanta poll released Wednesday.

The survey, taken December 21-22 among 500 registered voters in Georgia (https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/poll-perdue-up-over-ossoff-loeffler-falls-behind-warnock), showed Raphael Warnock leading Loeffler by two percentage points — 49 percent to 47 percent — with four percent remaining undecided. However, Warnock’s lead is well within the survey’s +/- 4.4 percent margin of error.

Perdue has a one-point advantage over his challenger, Jon Ossoff — 49 percent to 48 percent. But, once again, the lead is within the survey’s margin of error, pointing to a statistical tie. Three percent remain undecided in that race.

“Both Perdue and Loeffler saw a decline in their level of African-American support over the last week,” InsiderAdvantage chairman Matt Towery said.

“This is something I would fully anticipate as Republican support among African-Americans usually begins to level off in the last few weeks of a political contest,” he continued.

Various surveys released over the last week have also pointed to a tight race in the Peach State, with the GOP incumbents neck and neck with their Democrat challengers.

Dominion CEO Threatens ‘Imminent’ Legal Action Against ‘Repeated and Amplified False Statements’ About Our Company

Dominion Voting Systems CEO John Poulos on Thursday discussed his threat of “imminent” legal action against the Donald Trump campaign for statements made about their company following the 2020 elections.

Poulos said the lawsuit against “several different people that have been spreading lies and defamatory remarks” about his company since Election Day is in his legal team’s hands now. He said that entails Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell and possibly even the president himself.

“[S]everal different actors have been promoting lies and amplifying those lies, as I said, on various media platforms, since Election Day. And many Americans across the country have been listening to this, repeatedly, and it’s causing serious doubts with their election systems, which in our opinion, is the exact intent of these actors,” Poulos told CNN “New Day” host John Berman. “And they have refused to testify under oath and to bring these matters in front of a court. In fact, to my knowledge, I am the only one that has testified under oath on any of these matters. So, it’s just forced our hand. So, we fully expect that none of them will be retracting their statements, so it forces our hand to file action.”

“[W]e will be looking into absolutely everybody that has … made and repeated and amplified false statements that have been defamatory and damaging to our company and to our election,” he added.

Sasse’s statement refers to those pardoned as a “tranche of felons.”

In October, Sasse reportedly held a call with his Nebraska constituents and slammed Trump, saying he “mishandled the coronavirus response, ‘kisses dictators’ butts,’ ‘sells out our allies,’ spends ‘like a drunken sailor,’ mistreats women, and trash-talks evangelicals behind their backs,” according to the Washington Examiner. CDC: Over 1 Million Americans Have Received a Coronavirus Vaccine

More than one million Americans have received a vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Poll: 62% Say $600 Stimulus Checks ‘Too Small’

A majority of Americans view $600 in individual stimulus checks — which the House and Senate agreed to as part of a greater $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief and government spending bill — as too small, according to a Business Insider survey released this week.

The survey, taken December 21 among 1,123 respondents (https://www.businessinsider.com/insider-poll-majority-stimulus-check-too-small-2020-12), found that 62 percent view $600 stimulus checks as too small, with over three-quarters expressing the belief that payments should be $1,000 or greater. Forty-three percent of respondents said checks should be over $2,000.

According to Insider, respondents were asked to name the “right amount of money” for a “one-time federal economic stimulus payment at this time.” The median requested amount was $1,500 — greater than the amount received in the first round of relief, which was $1,200.

President Donald Trump publicly responded to the massive spending bill this week and asked Congress to amend it, increasing the “ridiculously low $600 to $2000, or $4000 for a couple.”

“Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries and lobbyists and special interests, while sending the bare minimum to the American people who need it,” Trump said, asking Congress to “get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items from this legislation.”

Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and members of the far-left “Squad,” quickly backed the president’s call to increase direct payments to Americans.

Mueller Prosecutor Says Trump Could Face Charges After Pardons

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s lead prosecutor Andrew Weissmann attacked President Trump during an interview on MSNBC.

He threatened that President Trump could face charges due to his pardons of Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Charles Kushner.

POLL: Majority Of Voters Want Pelosi Out Of Speakership

Americans have had enough of Nancy Pelosi’s failed speakership.

According to a new poll, 56% of voters (in a poll overweighted to Democrats) want Nancy Pelosi out as Speaker of the House.

In the poll, the vast majority of Republicans are opposed to Pelosi staying as speaker, 83 percent. Independents also lean strongly against her: Just 22 percent say she should remain speaker, while 59 percent say she should not.

Weissmann Lashes Out at Trump Over Manafort, Stone Pardons – Cooks Up New Plot to Prosecute Them for Perjury and Obstruction

President Trump on Wednesday evening asserted his authority and announced 26 new Christmas pardons including ones to Paul Manafort and Roger Stone.

Trump’s 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort was hunted down by Mueller’s goons after he helped President Trump win the 2016 election.

Manafort was sentenced to 7 years in prison for tax evasion and other crimes stemming from his Ukrainian lobbying.

Andrew Weissmann, the real prosecutor in charge of Mueller’s witch hunt lashed out at President Trump on Wednesday night following his pardon of Manafort and Stone.

Weissmann took the pardons personally since he’s the one who hunted down people in Trump’s orbit and persecuted them.

Weissmann cooked up a new plot to prosecute both Manafort and Stone.

Woman Arrested For Sending Threats To Wayne County Republican Who Refused to Certify Vote; Threats Included Pics Of Mutilated Bodies

A woman in New Hampshire has been arrested on federal charges after communicating a series of threats to Monica Palmer, chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, because Palmer had refused to certify the election for Biden in the wake of numerous accusations and proof of voter fraud. Threats included pictures of naked, mutilated bodies and pictures of Palmer’s own daughter.

The suspect, Katelyn Jones, apparently lives in Michigan, but was on vacation in Epping, NH when she was brought into custody. Her mugshot does not appear to be publicly available.

A criminal complaint was filed yesterday against a resident of Epping, New Hampshire for sending threatening communications to the chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers (Adult Victim-1), announced United States Attorney Matthew Schneider.

Schneider was joined in the announcement by Special Agent in Charge Timothy Waters, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Detroit, Michigan and Director John Kosanke, Grosse Pointe Woods Police Department.

Charged was Katelyn Jones, 23, formerly of Olivet, Michigan. Jones was arrested this morning and will be making her initial appearance in federal court this afternoon.

“The allegations in this case should make all of us disgusted,” stated United States Attorney Schneider. “There is simply no place in Michigan, or in the United States, for chilling threats like this to people who are simply doing what they believe is correct.”

“Due to the potential wide scope of the investigation, we contacted the F.B.I. for their assistance in this case,” said Director Kosanke. “As a result of the combined efforts between the F.B.I. and our investigative team, led by Detective Ryan Schroerlucke, federal felony charges were filed. I would like to express appreciation to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for their assistance in this investigation.”

According to the affidavit, on November 18, 2020, Jones is alleged to have knowingly and willfully transmitted communications containing threats to injure AV-1 and her family due to actions AV-1 took in her official capacity at Chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvasers. The affidavit describes a series of threatening text messages that were sent from a phone alleged to be associated with Jones to AV-1’s phone. In those texts Jones called AV-1 a racist and a terrorist and used graphic and profane language. It is also alleged that Jones sent AV-1 two graphic photographs of a bloody, naked, mutilated, dead woman lying on the ground. Immediately following, Jones sent AV-1 a photograph of AV-1’s minor daughter. AV-1 also received similar threats on her Instagram account.

If convicted, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison, and a fine of up to $250,000.

A complaint is only a charge and not evidence of guilty. Defendant Jones is innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proving these charges lies entirely on the United States, and that burden never shifts to the defendant.

“Fascist” MI AG Dana Nessel Threatens Lawyer Who Released Results Of Forensic Exam of 16 Dominion Voting Machines In Antrim Co.

Constitutional Attorney Matthew DePerno is an American hero. Two weeks ago, Michigan 13th Circuit Court Judge Kevin A Elsenheimer agreed to allow Mr. DePerno’s client, William Bailey, and a highly skilled team of IT experts to perform a forensic examination on 16 of the Dominion voting machines in Antrim County, MI. On Monday, Judge Elsenheimer agreed to allow the results of the forensic examination to be released to the public. The results were damning.

After the forensic examination of 16 Dominion Voting machines in Antrim, Co., MI, Allied Security Operations Group has concluded that the Dominion Voting machines were assigned a 68.05% error rate. DePerno explained that when ballots are put through the machine, a whopping 68.05% error rate means that 68.05% of the ballots are sent for bulk adjudication, which means they collect the ballots in a folder. “The ballots are sent somewhere where people in another location can change the vote,” DePerno explained. The allowable election error rate established by the Federal Election Commission guidelines is 1 in 250,000 ballots or .0008%.

Based on the Allied Security Operations report, Constitutional Attorney Matthew DePerno states: “we conclude that The Dominion Voting System should not be used in Michigan. We further conclude that the results of Antrim County should not have been certified.

Yesterday, The Detroit News announced that AG Nessel is planning to seek sanctions against lawyers “who pushed to overturn Michigan’s election results.”

“It is unfathomable that licensed attorneys would deliberately file false and misleading affidavits and pleadings with the Court in an effort to disenfranchise millions of Michigan residents,” Davis said. “Not only should these individuals and their attorneys be assessed financial sanctions, but they also should be barred from practicing in the federal courts in the Eastern District of Michigan.”

While Nessel didn’t mention the names of lawyers she may pursue sanctions against, she indicated that those who filed later, after the initial allegations had been assessed and denied immediate relief, were more culpable.

She said she could file against a lawyer associated with a case challenging Antrim County results and false statements he made on Newsmax and OANN. Matthew DePerno filed the case in Antrim County on behalf of resident William Bailey.

“I think we need to go back to a time where you can trust an attorney is making an accurate and truthful representation to the court because if they don’t, then they won’t be able to practice law anymore,” Nessel said.
