It seems strange that US sports teams are scrubbing indigenous references from their team names. How on Earth could anyone find "Atlanta Braves" offensive? I'm so grateful that Brazilians are turning their backs on cultural Marxism. I half-jokingly tell my sons that they are descended from cannibals. In Northern Brazil it's still a common expression of anger to say "I'm going to eat you." Five hundred years ago the ultimate way to humiliate a defeated adversary was to make the defeated watch you eat their family members. Obviously it's not practiced any more. However, it's senseless to hide from history. The Tupi, Xingu, Guarani, Caxarari, Arara, etc. ate their enemies. It's a historical fact. Their own descendants don't consider it offensive. What's with the thin-skinned tendencies in the US? I haven't seen an outrage from US indigenous tribes over US names of sport teams. Could it be that this is just white virtue signaling?
