I believe that years of lying by democrats and the MSM did more damage than anything. A close second was the social media effort was in major play to eliminate anything positive about Trump or the right, and eliminate anything bad about the democrats. It was an all out effort. Then as the last year election cycle went on, the MSM and social media doubled down and outright stated what they were doing. They "influenced" America into believing many lies and not hearing about the crimes and bullshit from the left.

Not all Americans set out to get news from many places including online. Some folks simply turn on a MSM news channel and are naive enough to believe that's it.

One-third of Americans believe that misinformation swayed the results of the election, with three-quarters of Republicans expressing the same belief, according to a Knight Foundation/Gallup study released Monday.

The study examined post-election opinions among 2,752 respondents from November 9-15. It found that a majority of Americans, 64 percent, believe that misinformation was greater this election year than it was in 2016.

The survey also asked respondents, “If [former Vice President] Joe Biden is the next president, in what way do you believe that misinformation swayed the election?”

Thirty-four percent of Americans overall said the outcome would have favored President Donald Trump over Biden, whom the media has declared the winner as states continue certifying their results in the wake of pending legal challenges.

It was more than just that- although that played a major part.
It was the dems cheating in every way they could imagine-- while knowing they'd get by with cheating as they always do.
The saddest part is they have been cheating hard and heavy for many decades without any repercussions.
Eventually such a one-sided playing field in politics is going to pay off-- big time..
As we see now bigtime with this election result...
Question is will they get by with it?
If they do, then this nation is certain to be doomed..
Head must roll over this and if not it will be goodbye USA.
Which will take some number of years to accomplish( and that is their goal) but --will be a damn certainty to occur..
History proves that when such a level of decay sets in, takes control no nation- no empire survives it.

Yes, there was clearly misinformation by CNN, NYT, WaPo and many other media outlets for the last 4 years, and especially during Covid, the BLM "peaceful protesters" rioting, and the election.
But I think it goes beyond that. I actually do believe that there was massive, organized fraudulent voting. The Dems wouldn't have voted to send out mail-in voting forms to everyone in the state if they didn't want fraudulent voting - they could have just expanded absentee ballots. And the Dems constantly vote for not requiring ID's at polling places, for same-day registrations, and for not checking signatures of voters. These are things you wouldn't vote for expect to help fraudulent voting.
There really are few things as despicable as a human being that works for the mainstream media. Hitler, maybe. Not sure.

Here's a possible solution to fraudulent voting for the next election:

Place signs around all polling places saying "This way to Fraudulently Vote for Joe Biden!". The signs point down the street, where other signs have more arrows pointing in further direction. Other signs are placed around all the burned out storefronts that were destroyed by the peaceful protesters this past summer, saying "Free stuff this way!"

The signs all direct the people eventually to an overlook of the nearest river, where a final sign says "Keep going - almost there for fraudulent voting and free stuff!" The lemming-like fraudsters all end up jumping mindlessly into the river, missing there chance to cast fraudulent votes, and not getting any free stuff.

Joe Biden ends up getting a miniscule amount of votes, losing, and mumbling about "dog faced pony soldiers". CNN tries to whine about it being unfair, but they are unable to produce any actual shows because most of their employees ended up swept away in nearby rivers.
