I mentioned a few times previously about this group, the underlying collection arm for black lives matter, or was supposed to be, until even one of the very leaders stated not to donate to them.
Money was unaccounted for and very little was being seen and coming back to the black folks it was meant to help.
But oddly, it was found that actblue, upon collecting these funds for BLM and other causes, were turning around and "donating" much of it to democrats. Right there in black and white.
And now, with donations to them continuing over time - on Kamala and Joe's first day together - they gain $30 million from Actblue. Something shady here, I can smell it.

Democrats, progressive groups raise more than $700 million in three months through ActBlue
BY JOHN BOWDEN - 07/20/20 09:54 AM EDT
Democratic donors contributed more than $700 million to candidates and progressive groups on the left-leaning ActBlue platform in 2020's second quarter, the company said Monday.
In a blog post, ActBlue officials pointed to the $710 million figure raised in the second quarter of 2020 as the highest single-quarter total in terms of fundraising in the platform's history.
The company also registered its highest number of first-time donors and unique donors this quarter.
Just over 5.7 million contributions were made on the platform in the second quarter of 2020, a sharp increase from the 1.4 million recorded in the previous quarter. In a statement, ActBlue pointed to bail funds and other fundraisers on the ActBlue platform begun in response to the nationwide protests over the deaths of Black Americans in police custody, including George Floyd, as a reason for the spike.
"Black activists and Black-led organizations made history in Q2 2020, leading the way as people around the world organized and protested against police violence and anti-Black racism," ActBlue wrote in the blog post.
"Digital fundraising was one part of that organizing: Hundreds of thousands of people donated to nonprofits raising funds to help protestors with bail, legal services, and support, as well as Black-led groups that are organizing for voting rights, the protection of Black trans people, and Black political power," it continued.
ActBlue's executive director Erin Hill told CNN in a statement that small-dollar donors were more engaged with the political process than ever before.
"Small-dollar donors are driving change," said Hill. "They are engaged at historic levels and pushing for the values they care about in their communities and at all levels of government."
A spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) pointed to the numbers as a sign of growing enthusiasm against President Trump ahead of the November election.

"These numbers are just a glimpse into the grassroots energy and excitement for [former Vice President] Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ticket. It's clear people are not only fed up with Donald Trump's broken promises and failed pandemic response, but that they are ready for Joe Biden's leadership in the White House," said Chris Meagher, the DNC's deputy communications director.
"The DNC just had its best online fundraising quarter in the history of our organization, and we have used that fundraising to build the infrastructure we will need to beat Donald Trump, flip the Senate, and protect our House majority in November," Meagher added.

There is little reason to separate the organization Black Lives Matter from the Democrat Party's chief fundraiser ActBlue. To donate to BLM is the same as giving cash to Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Ayanna Pressley, and other progressive Democrats.
If you go to the Black Lives Matter website and then click on the "DONATE" box in the upper right, it brings you to an ActBlue donation page.
Now, they have changed the link to ActBlue to more closely resemble the BLM site. You'd now have to look more carefully for the ActBlue reference since the criticism began. They even use BLM page colors but it is a measure they took because they know it's wrong to deceive the public. They don't care if it's wrong, they just don't want you to know.
Politifact, BLM, and ActBlue will all tell you that ActBlue just lets BLM "use their technology platform to receive the money and then disperse it just to Black Lives Matter," but to donate to that requires a leap of faith that it's true. The confusing and unnecessary layers and paths to give to BLM is not for no reason.
The bottom line is the money is steered directly to ActBlue.com even if the illusion to suggest otherwise has been constructed by the webmaster. Since 2004, ActBlue has raised over $5.4 billion dollars for Democrats and other progressives.
So when I see corporations pressured to give to the organization Black Lives Matter, I am seeing extortion by the Democratic Party. A shakedown from the playbook of "Revs." Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton.
...
and in fairness, here's an article disputing what has gone on:

BLM is not a non-profit organization. Instead, due to a loophole in the tax law, they are “sponsored” by a far left non-profit named “Thousand currents”
When you give money to BLM you are, in fact giving it to Black Lives Matter Global Foundation, which gives it to Thousand currents which gives it to BLM
As if that weren’t shady enough, finding their financial report is nearly impossible
However, an audit did find that nearly 80 percent of the money they raise goes to paying staff and their benefits (25%) and paying consultants.
