There has been a MASSIVE uptick in crime, in shootings. In addition, many lower arrests. - and then deep budget cuts, and over 1,000 recruits canceled instantly. Murder is up, burglary doubled... all major crimes up by 12% total. Many are taking extended vacations that can afford to do so - but many many others bailed completely over the past few years.
