Pinto beans are much better in Mexican cuisine, IMO

Black beans and yellow rice is a Cuban dish and it is pretty good, IMO. Taste matters :)

Goya has a bigger variety of beans than black ones. Just FYI for anyone that wants to support a company some on the left are boycotting for the company praising the President.

In 1989 I was aboard our newly commissioned ship in New Orleans, and before we left for Little Creek (Norfolk) Va. We had RED BEANS and RICE...Cajun style. Really good with Large Amounts of either BEER, or ICE WATER.

Crawdads came later...NO THANKS!
