Unapologetically guilty of most if not all of the above. Demonizing it does not negate its effectiveness. Neither do lies by omission and/or half-truths.

Totally insane. It's like a list for 'how to get ahead.' Shockingly quite a few blacks were like, "I resemble this." Yeah, successful blacks.

Granted that in recent years no one seems to be expected to accomplish much.

Exactly. The root of which was an unintended consequence of the civil rights, War on Poverty. Prior to these acts, black families-whether common law or legal marriage, were more stable than any other racial group. The government destroyed that. A whole new sub-cultural norm was born.

In the 1960s much lower percentage of whites in poverty than today. Welfare eventually drew more and more whites in when unmarried births lost stigma.

I will say I am surprised that even the Smithsonian is in on this crap. Then again, it is part of the DC/Fed government/leftist bureaucracy.

The kicker being, IMO, if you DON'T possess/utilize those characteristics, you definitely need the government to support you. All told, it's just one big strategy by the left to brainwash people into believing they NEED government to survive.

Oh the stir was mostly from the left, I think there was a realization that it would be pretty difficult to argue for opportunity but argue against showing up on time; working hard; delayed gratification; being attached to the mate of your children. LOL!

These are habits or even culture of higher socioeconomic achievers-of all colors and stripes. That was why I put the sarcastic, 'shockingly even some blacks. . .' successful blacks.

An aside to anyone, not particularly Abbey, the Smithsonians are a series of museums, each run separately. It was the 'Black History' one that posted this. The board overseeing all the museums made the decision to have it removed.
