And what were their main complaints about him being there otherwise, and his statement?
As the democrats, their supporters and so many others had the blessing to go out and protest, as it had a 'profound meaning', for Trump it's
"their commander-in-chief is attempting to drag America backward -- stirring fear of cultural change while flouting the most basic scientific evidence about disease transmission".
Then upset that Trump stated the following:
President Donald Trump used the backdrop of Mount Rushmore Friday night to frame protesters as a nefarious left-wing mob that intends to "end America." Those opponents, he argued, are engaged in a "merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values, and indoctrinate our children."
Probably more like they don't enjoy having the truth spoken. It IS a left wing mob mostly responsible. Antifa, younger white folks, organized.... I don't think they want to end America, but they sure as hell want to end it as in get rid of it's history that they don't like, and rewrite America. It's every dang day, monument after monument, so yes it does seem to be a merciless campaign of destruction. Much of it our history, and much just to destroy things. They ARE defaming folks from our history. Some are borderline deserving, but based on today's day and age. But some are ridiculous to think of - Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson and now even Mount Rushmore. Former presidents and many great people from our history. Then name changes and cancellations. And on and on. Erase our values for sure. I'm not afraid to say that many folks on the left simply don't have many values, no self respect. Many people out there DO want to do this for sure, and that's truly bad for America. And so so so much of this stems from younger folks, in school and right out of, just learned that entitled and demanding attitude. And coddled. Ummmm, so yeah, he was mostly right - and CNN nitwits act like these are all bad things. Surprised I didn't read that "President Trump had the audacity to infer the police are still an important part of society". :rolleyes:
Then their next sentence goes on:
On Saturday in the nation's capital, the Trump administration has planned July 4 celebrations that ignore Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser's concerns about public health guidelines
Sure, the same person and the same place where they were JUST out there by the thousands, all within feet or inches, many arm in arm, painting the street to purposely annoy the president, and CNN smiled and partied through that.
