Cops shoot more whites than blacks. Okay, that only proves that cops are racist. I know a bunch of retired Chicago cops, they're all horrible race bigots. That's why I'm thrilled to see entire police forces being fired, because I don't need cops and neither do any of you. I believe that more cops means more crime, not less crime, more crime.

I used to think we didn't need them, until I came to Berkeley CA. I saw so much street crime and disregarding of traffic lights, etc., that when I saw a cop car patrolling maybe once a week or so, I would actually cheer. It's no fun living somewhere where criminals control the street, for me anyway. YMMV.

OTOH, most small towns of a few thousand people, with homogeneous populations, have no real need for cops, other than maybe a sheriff who can be called in if needed.
