Let's try to keep some proper perspective here. The article leans a lot more toward overreaction by people who have no idea what's going on nor what to do. I agree with THAT premise.

In front of the entire World we pussed right the f- out and ran for our rabbit holes. I said that in the beginning and I'm not walking a letter of it back.

BUT ... there IS a virus and it IS killing people and has killed people. None of us this far down the totem pole have any idea what the REAL numbers are. SO the deniers and the paranoid alike are talking out their asses on that account. We get whatever numbers it suits whoever is providing them wants us to have.

Too many players on both sides of the aisle and other countries would have to be in collusion -- meaning agree with one another -- AND more importantly keep a secret -- for this to be some conspiracy. Those two factors, especially the latter, put that in the highly doubtful category.

It is my opinion that the majority of "protesters" /thugs are people who weren't adhering to any lockdown to begin with.

I know most if not all of you find that hard to believe, but this is the same government that funds a eugenics program called Planned Parenthood. This is the same government that after WW2 brought Nazis here and put them in high government positions via Operation Paperclip, many went to work at Ft. Detrick and established USAMRIID. The United States didn't win WW2, Russia and Israel won WW2.

Thus, I go with the odds that it was...-TyrI'm not concerned with fudged numbers. I quit believing them long ago. I'm not going to wrap myself around the axle over it because I can't control it, and have no means f access to anything resembling an accurate count.

I am also not going to hedge any argument on numbers we just don't know.

Why WOULD the Dems pass up the opportunity? Hell, this virus is a better legit opportunity because of the unknown factor and outcome than any they've had or tried in the past 3 + years. In their position, considering the "rules" or lack thereof they play by, I'd be all over it.

I'm more concerned with the rush to re-open. The sooner we try that upcoming debacle, the more time the Dems have to work between now and Nov. IMO, it is in Trump's and our best interest that he perform whatever economic "miracle", if he can" as close to the election as he can.

Now before anyone gets all worked up, that is solely in context of winning the election. Not necessarily what is best for the economy or the people of the US.
