Jan. 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. We have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.” — Trump in a CNBC interview. Ok, and? China was lying and WHO was running with it. At that point, the numbers were what they were.

Jan. 30: “We think we have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five — and those people are all recuperating successfully. But we’re working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for us … that I can assure you.” — Trump in a speech in Michigan. Yeah, and? Working with China under the impression they were being truthful. Based on all he knew, he spoke positively to the press and the country.

Feb. 10: “Now, the virus that we’re talking about having to do — you know, a lot of people think that goes away in April with the heat — as the heat comes in. Typically, that will go away in April. We’re in great shape though. We have 12 cases — 11 cases, and many of them are in good shape now.” — Trump at the White House. (See our item “Will the New Coronavirus ‘Go Away’ in April?“) I'm confident that medical leaders spoke of things and viruses dying out when April comes due to the heat. So, and? He reported on where we stood at the time, and what shape we were in, or so he believed.

Feb. 14: “There’s a theory that, in April, when it gets warm — historically, that has been able to kill the virus. So we don’t know yet; we’re not sure yet. But that’s around the corner.” — Trump in speaking to National Border Patrol Council members. Again, that's long been the thought about the flu and other viruses. He speaks truthful about history and that we don't know yet with this one. And it's reported that this was somehow bad?

Feb. 23: “We have it very much under control in this country.” — Trump in speaking to reporters. Yeah? Perhaps on the known cases and where. I do believe warnings were around by this point, but rather than set off fear, he spoke of the strict numbers and stayed hopeful. And who fed him what information? Perhaps anyone the same as what the MSM was reporting to this point? (get out there left and right) and Fauci was stating the same. So?

Feb. 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” — Trump in a tweet. Again, the same? Perhaps it appeared under control, and they were all communicating with one another. Only that China was lying, WHO reporting similarly, Fauci too...

Feb. 26: “So we’re at the low level. As they get better, we take them off the list, so that we’re going to be pretty soon at only five people. And we could be at just one or two people over the next short period of time. So we’ve had very good luck.” — Trump at a White House briefing. Likely factually true again. And likely believed what exactly he was saying, as were the others. But only one gets blamed as lying? My ass.

Feb. 26: “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.” — Trump at a press conference. Same as above. But I would like to know how Fauci and the CDC thought it was an issue prior to this and not an issue at the same time? Is Fauci the direct and most used information for Trump or others in the WH? Either way, not blaming him, just showing how the words and numbers were going around, while you blame one person.

Feb. 26: “I think every aspect of our society should be prepared. I don’t think it’s going to come to that, especially with the fact that we’re going down, not up. We’re going very substantially down, not up.” — Trump at a press conference, when asked if “U.S. schools should be preparing for a coronavirus spreading.” And? Folks should always be prepared. At this point the incorrect numbers and info out there was growing, just that many didn't know.

Feb. 27: “It’s going to disappear. One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear.” — Trump at a White House meeting with African American leaders. NY and Cuomo reported ZERO new cases today. I don't think so, but that's how it's going to work. Not quite that quickly though. and it will be coming back and floating around until a vaccine is made.

Feb. 29: “And I’ve gotten to know these professionals. They’re incredible. And everything is under control. I mean, they’re very, very cool. They’ve done it, and they’ve done it well. Everything is really under control.” — Trump in a speech at the CPAC conference outside Washington, D.C. Again, yeah? They are some damn great people on this, even if things received were lies or their models based on lies or just incorrect models. And he speaks of confidence in them and now it's an issue.

March 4: “[W]e have a very small number of people in this country [infected]. We have a big country. The biggest impact we had was when we took the 40-plus people [from a cruise ship]. … We brought them back. We immediately quarantined them. But you add that to the numbers. But if you don’t add that to the numbers, we’re talking about very small numbers in the United States.” — Trump at a White House meeting with airline CEOs. And, it's true. I don't know how much lower it was then, but MUCH more so when he said that - compared to now with about 593k in the USA. That's about 0.17% of approximately 350 million. Not to downplay anyone sick, but the numbers ARE very small compared for the entire nation.

March 4: “Well, I think the 3.4% is really a false number.” — Trump in an interview on Fox News, referring to the percentage of diagnosed COVID-19 patients worldwide who had died, as reported by the World Health Organization. (See our item “Trump and the Coronavirus Death Rate.”) And his hunch was right and THIS is what started the entire panic. This number was way way off.

March 7: “No, I’m not concerned at all. No, we’ve done a great job with it.” — Trump, when asked by reporters if he was concerned about the arrival of the coronavirus in the Washington, D.C., area. I'm confident that he was concerned but not showing fear.

March 9: “So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!” — Trump in a tweet. - Yeah, and? The flu numbers are what they are, and that 3.4% number so way off, right now it DOES appear that the numbers for this year at least very well may be less than many years of the flu. The main problem is that this virus is in addition to the flu, not some form of replacement.

March 10: “And we’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.” — Trump after meeting with Republican senators.
A day later, on March 11, the WHO declared the global outbreak a pandemic. Again, and? You and the left gonna pick apart every sentence he speaks? Should he try to scare the nation with crazy scary numbers daily? Should he show fear to the nation himself and hide away from the public and others? Is there something wrong with stating those on the front lines are doing well? For folks to stay calm?

Trump has been wrong about things with this just like others. But these gotcha point outs of a timeline doesn't pan out - and once again fizzes out in failure not long afterwards. And even funnier when you look back and remember the same BS was spammed in quite a few replies, when he was avoiding answering other questions.

I would have much more respect if equal time was given to the known lies that came out of China. That he pointed out the mistakes from WHO and the CDC. That he gave equal time to the MSM and the lies they were directly busted on regaring this. And then all of the crap they stated on air and/or got wrong. And then maybe if he also did the same with leading democrats that were wrong on so many levels about this, and more from them.

But nope. All pointed to just one man. The buck stops here line will be stuck with on this one. Even lies from China. The lies from the MSM should have stopped at Trump's desk. All of those incorrect numbers coming from WHO, CDC, Fauci.. all should have went through Trump first and somehow stopped at his desk.

From the left, and this pile, all we see is the usual hypocrisy, blaming BS & lies. In other words, the same 'ol same 'ol.

petey was mishandled by the Abortionist at "Planned Parenthood" and they allowed him to slip through their Mechanic's Gloves, fall on the floor, and then slapped him "SILLY" until he began to suffer from TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME that vacated all of the matter between his ears.

Hey petey..."LIFE'S A BEACH! HUH?"

Conclusion: Pete's a Leftie.

Ah, how those of Pete's ilk HATE President Trump !! He's their exact opposite, and he persists in being popular !! He stands in stark opposition to all that the Left would hope the American public would think and feel. Little wonder, then, that they focus on blaming him for absolutely everything.

It isn't about right or wrong. The Petes of this world don't care about that. It's about being victorious, and then, when the victory is secured, enacting control over all attitudes, all preferred perceptions of worldview. Trump is as opposite to their 'nirvana' as they can imagine to exist. In LeftieWorld, he's the devil incarnate !

This is one reason why, on the day President Trump's political career comes to an end, it'll be a very sad day. A classic opportunity to frustrate and just generally drive the Left nuts will have disappeared off the scene. The loss to the world of comedy will be profound.

Pete may never be the same again.
