Boris Johnson was admitted to hospital tonight.

As yet, this is being called a 'precautionary measure'. But .. Boris has had Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days now, and so he's been admitted to hospital to assess why, even though his symptoms remain mild, he hasn't beaten the disease yet.

Boris has followed his own Government's advice and self-isolated (at 11 Downing Street, next door to no 10 !) for seven days. One week later ... and his high temperature is persisting.

Matt Hancock shrugged the disease off fairly easily. Boris is having a harder time of it.

Mr Johnson "continues to have persistent symptoms of coronavirus", a spokeswoman said.

Speculation is (according to commentary I'm hearing on LBC News) that as he had a pneumonia-related condition earlier on in his life, this might be having an impact on his ability to recover. Still ... his symptoms remain mild.

It's also being said that he might've delayed his recovery by continuing to work on during this past week. He was also seen out of his sick bed to take part in the public weekly 'clap to support the NHS' nationwide gesture ... something many people are doing as a gesture of appreciation for all the health workers putting themselves at risk during these times.

I'm sure that he'll want to get out of hospital just as soon as he can. He's still in charge of his Government, as of right now.

As I've just posted elsewhere ... all that's happened here is that Pete has reverted to type. He's afflicted with adherence to a dogma that, by its very nature, considers empathy of individuals a waste, a 'non-event'. To the Left, it's the 'masses' that matter .. how 'the masses' must be directed to think and behave. Those thinking and behaving outside of the approved manner, are of no consequence to a Leftie.

Thus, human decency barely exists. It isn't 'legislated' for, beyond confines of impersonal dogma.

Leftieism lacks a soul, or even a concept of one. That's the truth here.
