So imagine for a moment:
Donald Trump Jr. is kicked out of the Navy for being on cocaine. Then Dad helps him get employment coincidentally in areas he is working as VP. He makes a ton of money from these jobs, and coincidentally others do too. Oh, and Trump Jr. also then decides to marry his dead brother's wife.
Ivanka is known as a party girl and likes to smoke the funny weed. Also gets nailed on video trying a little bit of fun up the nose. Gets busted for weed bot nothing appears in her record about it. All this while Dad is running on an anti-drug campaign.
Then Trump's niece is a thief and gets busted in a credit card scam to the tune of $100,000. And then gets off with a slap on the wrist, no doubt due to her name.
How would all of this go over in today's political environment with Trump as president? How would the MSM handle all this information?
We don't have to worry as Trump's family this far has taken Dad's footsteps in the no drinking, no smoking department and of course no drugs. All were educated and all work hard in the family business. The press wants to nail them on any family issues if they can, but they can't.

BUT, what if it's a former VP running for the highest office in the land at the moment?
Just some snippets from each....
Joe Biden’s niece dodges jail after $100K credit card scam
The wild-child niece of former Veep Joe Biden stole more than $100,000 in a credit card scam — and quietly cut a plea deal in Manhattan court that spares her any jail time, The Post has learned.
Using a borrowed credit card, the blonde Caroline Biden set up an unauthorized customer account at Bigelow Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village, and racked up the six-figure bill over the course of a year, according to a criminal complaint that does not name the victim card owner.
As part of a plea deal before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Kevin McGrath, Biden, 29, pleaded guilty to one charge of grand larceny and another of petit larceny and agreed to make restitution of $110,810.04.
If she pays everything back and keeps her nose clean, she can return to court and enter a substitute plea to a lower, misdemeanor charge of petit larceny and be sentenced to two years probation.
But she’ll stay out of jail even if she fails to live up to the plea deal, instead getting sentenced on the felony larceny to five years probation.

Ashley Biden’s past is full of weed and wild parties
A decade before a friend came forward trying to sell a video that he claimed showed her snorting cocaine, Vice President Joseph Biden’s daughter was busted for pot possession.
Ashley Biden “was a hot freshman that every guy wanted to be with,” said Nat Berman, a Tulane University classmate, who said he bailed Ashley out of jail after her 1999 marijuana arrest in New Orleans, for which no conviction was recorded.
“She was very attractive.
“Everybody at Tulane knew that she was a party girl,” Berman said. “She wore some pretty short shorts — a lot.”
...
erman told The Post that Ashley — currently a social worker at a Delaware child welfare agency — called him in September 1999 to say she was “on her way over” to his off-campus home “to hang out.”
An hour or so later, after she didn’t show up, Berman said, he received a call from Ashley, who “said she was in jail.”
“She was freaking out. She was like, ‘I’m in this cell,’ ” Berman recalled. “She was not happy.”
Berman said he paid a bail bondsman “between $200 and $400” to bail Ashley out, and then drove her home.
New Orleans court records confirm Ashley’s September 1999 marijuana-possession arrest but do not detail any conviction.
Ashley, 27, is now at the center of a scandal rocking Washington and Delaware, which her anti-drug dad had represented as US senator for decades prior to being elected as President Obama’s vice president.

Divorce filing details split of Kathleen, Hunter Biden
Citing "irreconcilable differences," Kathleen Biden filed for divorce from her husband of 23 years, Hunter, late last year, Superior Court records in Washington, D.C. show.
Kathleen's Dec. 9 complaint and subsequent filings detail a rocky relationship between the couple alleging drug use and infidelity dating to at least 2015, shortly after Hunter's brother, former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, died of brain cancer.
On Wednesday, Hunter, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, confirmed to the New York Post that he is having a romantic relationship with Beau's widow, Hallie.
The 47-year-old lawyer, investment manager and former lobbyist told Page Six, “Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most. We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.”
Joe Biden, wife Jill and Hallie's father, Ron Olivere, have publicly pledged their support for the couple.
...
Her complaint alleges that Hunter hasn't sufficiently provided for the family after the couple formally separated in October of 2015. In late 2016, Hunter ordered his office to cut Kathleen's $17,000-a-month payment to $7,500, according to the complaint. Property records show that the couple owns a six-bedroom home in D.C. that was purchased for nearly $1.6 million in 2006.
Over the course of the separation, Hunter has drained hundreds of thousands of dollars from the couple's marital assets by "spending extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations), while leaving the family with no funds to pay legitimate bills," according to a Feb. 23 motion filed by Kathleen. The motion asks the court to stop Hunter from further "dissipation" of the assets.
In 2014, the Navy Reserve discharged Hunter after he tested positive for cocaine. He had served for less than a year as a public affairs officer.
