Conspiracy Theory! Mika Brzezinski Suggests Trump Is Blackmailing Graham, Rubio
Will Mika Brzezinski be in touch with Nancy Pelosi today to recommend the addition of a new article of impeachment—the high crime of blackmail?
The question arises because on today's Morning Joe, Mika strongly suggested that President Trump is blackmailing Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio. She first wondered out loud what Trump "has on" Graham. She later suggested that the President has dug up "dirt" on Graham and Rubio, and has them "under his thumb," coercing them into saying positive things about him. In the case of Graham, it was his praise for Trump's comments on Iran. As for Rubio, it was his positive comment on the briefing on the Iran situation given to senators.
Flinging around allegations of presidential blackmail is serious stuff, but not for the liberal media. And ironically, it is the flip side of a favorite MSM theme -- that Putin has dirt on Trump which he uses to blackmail him into support for Russia.
Note: Mika's alternative explanation was that if President Trump isn't blackmailing the senators, he could be bribing them. Either way, be sure to let Nancy know, Mika: we've got ourselves a new article of impeachment!
