I watched a late broadcast of the Christmas Eve Mass at St Peter’s Basilica, said by Pope Francis.
I haven’t been Catholic for a long time, and am not really a fan of the current Pope, but just wanted to say it was a really beautiful and special service, and I’m very glad I saw it.
It brought to mind a recent thread here about the Catholic Church that caused a lot of unnecessary hurt. We believers in God and Jesus Christ need to look to our commonalities instead of our differences. Especially with all the hatred of Christianity in the world. It’s time to proclaim our important beliefs to the world, not broadcast our theological differences.
