That is SO Marine Corps. Yes, it's common sense, but one of my favorite saying I got from my Gunny when I was a rookie is: Don't bring me your problem without a proposed solution, and if you don't have a proposed solution, STFU, sit down, stop whining and listen to those that do.

Actually I know a teacher that used a version of that line. LOL!
