Many on the left and right all agree that this impeachment won't be going anywhere in the senate.
And the support for impeachment is dropping. I read earlier that 39 potential house seats are on the line if they vote YES for impeachment. But some feel this will only help the Democrats in the senate. Time will tell. I said from the get go that this was a loser, and it only served to harm the left.

Opposition to Impeachment Grows Among Independents
(CNSNews.com) – A new poll shows opposition to impeaching President Donald Trump is growing among independent voters.
A poll by Emerson polling conducted Nov. 17 to 20 shows 49 percent of independent voters oppose impeaching Trump, while 34 percent of independents support it.
Compare that to October when 39 percent of independents opposed impeachment and 48 percent supported it. That represents a 10 percent increase in opposition to impeachment among independent voters and a 14 percent drop in support for impeachment among independents.
Overall support for impeachment has dipped from 48 percent in October to 43 percent in November – a five percent decrease. Overall opposition to impeachment has gone up one percentage point from 44 percent of last month to 45 percent this month, within the margin of error.
“Support for impeachment has flipped since October from 48% support with 44% opposing to now 45% opposed and 43% in support. The biggest swing is among Independents, who oppose impeachment now 49% to 34%, which is a reversal from October where they supported impeachment 48% to 39%,” Emerson reported.

Vulnerable Democrats spooked by GOP impeachment ad onslaught
Vulnerable Democrats are watching in horror as GOP impeachment attacks deluge their districts back home. And they want a much stronger counteroffensive from their own party and its allies.
Some of those Democrats raised their concerns with party leaders this week as they prepared to leave for Thanksgiving recess, fearing that voters will be bombarded by anti-impeachment ads as families gather around the TV for parades and football, according to multiple lawmakers and aides.
GOP-aligned outside groups have spent roughly $8 million on TV spots this cycle in battleground districts, such as Rep. Anthony Brindisi's central New York seat. The vast majority of those ads specifically hammer Democrats over impeachment.
Meanwhile, swing-district Democrats are receiving little reinforcement from their own party or even other liberal coalitions. Democratic and pro-impeachment groups have spent about $2.7 million in TV ads, according to an analysis of spending by the ad tracking firm Advertising Analytics. And more than $600,000 of that total went to ads targeting Republican incumbents, not helping vulnerable Democratic members.
"Many of us have been expressing our concerns to leadership," said a Democratic lawmaker said, who declined to be named in order to speak candidly about strategy. "You don’t want to have to play catch up."
“Everyone knows you don't just take a shot and sit there,” the lawmaker said. “It’s like someone taped our arms to our side and punched us in the face.”
Some Democrats raised the spending disparity during a closed-door meeting with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her leadership team on Wednesday. One moderate Democrat asked if party officials planned to launch more ads, particularly in more rural swing districts in less expensive media markets where incumbents are desperately looking for more air cover, according to multiple people in the room.
