That is a hell of a lot of speculation, especially since the original
reporting source is not identified.
No details from the report, either. A President has the right to communicate
with anyone as they so please, so this is another 'Tempest in a Teapot"
No offense to you, pete311, but this seems weak at best.

Maybe, but if it weren't a big deal then the acting DNI chief shouldn't have held it back from congress. There are two whistleblowers. One for the suspect communication and one for not delivering the complaint to congress per law.

Obviously we don't know enough about this to even know why someone felt the need to tattle on Trump, BUT two things here.
1. Given the way Trump haters have behaved since he was elected it is more than likely a bullshit complaint like all the others
and
2. Democrats in Congress have brought this on themselves , in the beginning everyone in the Administration was cooperating with their requests, but 2 1/2 years of crying like bitches and turning everything into a fucking Defcon 5 alert Democrats have simply pissed everyone off can no longer find cooperation.

The IG (hired by Trump mind you) has looked at it and labeled it urgent. When that is done by law it has to be sent to congress. The acting DNI chief has refused.

So I wonder, WHAT was it that Biden did that perhaps should have been investigated? All made up just to harm his candidacy? No truth at all and was never a reason to investigate? DID Hunter Biden have any work in the Ukraine? DID he profit at all while Dad was in office? DID Joe Biden, at all, at ANY time, threaten to pull back aid to Ukraine, if they didn't fire a prosecutor investigating an energy company? One that Hunter Biden was on the board?
But big orange man had no right to talk with other leaders? Investigate of any of this is true? I mean, it's all fake, right?
Someone should have told the leftie news back when Biden was in office, when they all reported about this?
"If the prosecutor isn't fired in 6 hours, you aren't getting the money".

Unbelievable. You can't tell me the shitstorm that would hit Obama if it came out he bribed a foreign power into investigating Romney's son.
This might be the biggest no-information-at-all story I've ever heard of in my life.
All kinds of new organizations are reporting "Whistleblower says Trump communicated with a Foreign Leader" but can't specify any facts, such as:
1. Who is the world leader?
2. Who is the whistleblower and how did they get this information?
3. What exactly is the information anyway? They don't even say what Trump said.
4. What is the problem with Trump communicating with a Foreign Leader? Isn't that part of the job of President?
5. Is whatever Trump said to the leader unusual? Is it something no President has ever said to a Foreign Leader before?
Recently there has been innuendo that the foreign leader is from Ukraine, and the information is about Biden's threatening trip to Ukraine while he was VP, but this is never stated as fact.
By the way, if there is a problem with Trump talking with Ukraine - why wasn't it a problem when Biden talked to them?

Obama, leaders within the FBI and the DOJ = they all were accused and involved in wrongdoing and now being proved that they used all of the above to wrongly investigate someone, and then pin investigations on people, all part of keeping Trump out of office and then to try and remove him from office. Many people discussed it and showed the wrongdoing. Funny that you missed it then.
Now, we have someone asking another leader to apparently investigate something? Something that Joe Biden himself was recorded stating - that he would withhold aid from Ukraine if they didn't fire a prosecutor? Something doesn't add up - and even the liberal media asked all of those same questions. Odd that too! But someone finally listens - and it's suddenly an issue. Perhaps so - if it were false, and Biden didn't admit to the wrongdoing himself... And THAT is where the bribery was.
Face it, that's why he's got full support on this one, as everyone quickly saw it for the garbage grab that it is. The Desperate Dems just trying the same tactics over and over and over and over thinking they'll get different results. Kind of like you coming here posting endless times with gotcha! stories about Trump, only for them to end up being BS. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Pete keeps repeating about the IG, which I get. What we don't know though is how he came to have the report and what he knew had come before, like the following information.
Then there is Biden on video claiming/bragging that he did just what is alleged.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/intelligence-whistleblower-didnt-have-direct-knowledge-of-the-communications (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/intelligence-whistleblower-didnt-have-direct-knowledge-of-the-communications)
Whistleblower 'didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications' between Trump and Ukraine
by Zachary Halaschak
| September 21, 2019 04:04 PM
The whistleblower who filed a complaint with the intelligence community inspector general did not have direct knowledge of the communications between President Trump and the foreign leader in question.
The conversation was reportedly a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. It is alleged that Trump urged Zelensky multiple times to work with his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to investigate Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden and his ties to an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch. Giuliani has previously urged a top official in Ukraine to look into the ties.
An official who has been briefed on the matter, however, told CNN that the whistleblower “didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications.” The official said that the concerns and subsequent complaint came in part from the whistleblower “learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work.”
[ Also read: ANALYSIS: Does Schiff already know the Trump whistleblower's story?]
Those details have reportedly played a role in the administration's determining that the complaint, lodged in August, didn’t fall under the reporting standards for intelligence whistleblower law.
Although many details are still unclear, the communications in question reportedly involved a “promise,” and House Democrats, as well as the elder Biden, are pushing to have the complaint and a transcript of the call between Trump and Zelensky released.
Inspector General of the Intelligence Community Michael Atkinson received the initial complaint and forwarded it to acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, who has so far refused to pass it along to Congress.
The root of the proposed investigation into Hunter Biden stems from his being a 2014 board member for the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings. While he was still vice president, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees if Ukraine did not fire its top prosecutor, who was accused of corruption and was investigating the oligarch who owned Burisma Holdings. That raised concerns of a potential conflict of interest, which could be damaging to Biden’s presidential campaign.
At the time of the prosecutor’s departure, Hunter Biden was being paid $50,000 per month for his work with the energy company. Hunter Biden left Burisma’s board earlier this year.
Both Trump and Biden have denied any wrongdoing, with Trump describing his phone call to Zelensky as “perfectly fine" and Biden saying he has never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings.

If he wee TRULY interested in such things, he too would have been interested in WHY Biden did what he did, bragged about it - DID it help his son? The Anti-Trump Whistleblower Story Looks Like Another Phony Scandal
The so-called whistleblower "scandal" that the media is hyping up every which way has Democrats once again falling all over each other to declare another "impeachable offense," despite having virtually no details about the conversation between Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky. But, like everything else that's been thrown at Trump, this appears to be another phony scandal. The Daily Wire's Ashe Schow reported Saturday that the whistleblower complaint "is nothing more than a rumor reported by someone in the intelligence community." In fact, CNN reported this fact, but buried it in an article:
The whistleblower didn't have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower's concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration's determination that the complaint didn't fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.
Schow noted, "this is yet another anonymous source giving more context on what another anonymous source told a different outlet, but it still calls the entire story into question." The original Washington Post story, despite being on the front page, was vague, relying on “two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter” who were “speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly” and alleging Trump had made a “promise” to a world leader—which, based on what we know right now, is incorrect.
The Post filled out its story with information about a “standoff” between Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire and Congress.
The Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson – who was appointed by Trump – determined the whistleblower complaint to be of “urgent concern,” according to the Post. But Maguire argued he was not required by law to turn the complaint over to congressional Democrats seeking to impeach Trump.
The reason Maguire didn’t turn the complaint over is because of what CNN reported – that the person who made the complaint had no direct knowledge of what was said and was merely reporting a rumor. Why the inspector general determined it “urgent and credible” remains to be seen.

Lindsey Graham Calls on DOJ to Probe Potential Criminal Acts by Biden Family in Ukraine
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) went on with Maria Bartiromo Sunday on Sunday Morning Futures.
During their discussion Lindsey Graham called on the Department of Justice to probe the potential criminal acts between the Biden Family and Ukraine.
After leaving office in 2017, Vice President Joe Biden Bragged about strong-arming the government of Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor.
Joe Biden made the remarks during a meeting of foreign policy specialists. Biden said he, “Threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.” Biden suggested during his talk that Barack Obama was also in on the threat.
In April John Solomon revealed what Biden did not tell his audience. Joe Biden had Shokin fired because he was investigating bribes to Joe Biden’s son Hunter.
Shokin was investigating $3 million in funds that were being transferred out of Ukraine and into accounts in the United States at that time.
Joe Biden had him fired.
On Sunday Lindsey Graham said he was calling on the DOJ to probe the potential criminal acts of Biden Family in Ukraine.

I don't know if this is pathetic, or desperation to be right, or desperation to get rid of Trump over TDS. What I DO know is that it's BS. The very fact that every single leftie runs RIGHT PAST Biden and what he did when he was VP, completely 100% ignore it, ignore even the media that wondered and questioned and still do his actions. Right past every last bit of it and on to the desperation of calling out Trump for daring to ask about it or want it investigated. Well now others want it investigated as well. PROOF of what Biden said in his own words is out there, as are the media. As per usual though, ignore the left and play gotcha games instead. No surprise to me. But nothing is coming against Trump except for the same 'ol same 'ol, which makes everyone yawn except for those that are desperate, and fall for the same crap over and over and over and over.

And further , if you're so fucking concerned about what is and what is not illegal why do you remain silent on oh everything people in the USG did to try to hurt Trump IE the Russian Hoax, OR why didn't you call for Adam Schiff to be arrested when he got caught trying to get dirt on Trump from who he thought were Ukranian government officials, or when Hillary used a private email server to avoid FOIA law, OR about Biden withholding $1B from Ukraine until they fired a prosecutor he wanted fired?

They don't know the whistleblower?
And the whistle blower themselves has never heard the call? A whistleblower over something they heard about? This is what CNN is saying. And the FM spoke of the conversation already and stated there was zero pressure about anything.
It's a shit burger from the known shitty left, nothing more. The complaint DOES NOT even fit under reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law... - That's from a CNN article.
But I'm happy to see the whining continue, and talks of impeachment. Let them go on!! The longer and closer to the election, I think the more fuckups they make the better. I hope this harms Biden! LOL

I believe in transparency to the utmost, but honestly I'm sick of this so from now on I hope Trump tells Congress to go fuck themselves every time they request anything. Good luck investigating with zero witnesses testifying, zero evidence turned over, nothing, nada.
I'll tell you what to, and I've posted this before, I'd order the DNI to stop giving the The Gang of 8 any classified intel as long as Adam Schiff was in their ranks as well. That motherfucker has been lying for 3 plus years .

I wonder why officials have stated outright that this leak, this "whistleblower" report, DID NOT meet the requirements of the code in order to mandate reporting? Hell, even story tellers at CNN stated as much. I wonder why none of them have checked in with Pete first?
But lets let it continue. :)
And lets assume they do find out he must release it, and they do. Now we get to laugh as they push and complain forever over the nothingburger that comes from it.
Or better yet, they don't have to, but the ignorant on the left start pushing crap again for impeachment. THEN the nothingburger comes out, and ALL of the left looks retarded in time for the election.
The folks on the left have a LOT being investigated for all the actions leading up to Trump being elected, then the actions afterwards. I can only HOPE that they add to that somehow, and not learn from mistakes, and win an election for the right AND harm left candidates at the same time. :)

Not me, not at all. A TON of it is called "Personal Responsibility", and that will reflect in many many ways. But it does start, sadly, for some from grade school forward. But for most folks, they are fine, but may be doing little to pass - based on personal responsibility. And then graduate on to bigger and better things to ignore, and bigger expectations from others and the government - from an ever growing list of expectations and facets of life.

On Tuesday afternoon, President Trump announced on Twitter that he has "authorized the release tomorrow of the complete, fully declassified and unredacted transcript of my phone conversation with President Zelensky of Ukraine." This came less than two hours before House Democrats are set to meet to discuss launching an impeachment investigation. Trump seems extremely confident that releasing the transcript will vindicate him. "You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call," he tweeted. "No pressure and, unlike Joe Biden and his son, NO quid pro quo! This is nothing more than a continuation of the Greatest and most Destructive Witch Hunt of all time!"

I think this is a great idea - ALL of the truth and transcripts. To know the context of what Trump was doing - we need to know what Biden was doing in his transcripts.
--
RNC Calls on Joe Biden to Follow President Trump’s Example and Release Transcripts of Calls to Ukraine Pertaining to His Money Laundering Scheme
Earlier today President Trump announced he would release the full, unredacted transcript of his phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from July.
President Trump“I am currently at the United Nations representing our Country, but have authorized the release tomorrow of the complete, fully declassified and unredacted transcript of my phone conversation with President Zelensky of Ukraine. You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call. No pressure and, unlike Joe Biden and his son, NO quid pro quo! This is nothing more than a continuation of the Greatest and most Destructive Witch Hunt of all time!” Trump said in a pair of tweets Tuesday afternoon.
...
This afternoon the RNC called on Joe Biden to release the transcripts of his calls to Ukraine pertaining to the money laundering scheme to his son Hunter Biden.
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement in response to Joe Biden’s baseless call for impeachment:
“First it was the Russia hoax. Now it’s the Ukraine hoax.”
“Once again, Joe Biden has shown he is just as extreme as the rest of the 2020 Democrats who are desperate to bring President Trump down. Instead of backing a baseless impeachment effort, Biden should be answering for the only scandal that exists: Why a corrupt Ukrainian company paid his son $50,000 a month to lobby the Obama-Biden administration, and why Biden threatened the Ukrainians if they failed to fire a prosecutor investigating the company.”
“Now that the President has authorized the release of the transcript of his call with President Zelensky, we call on Biden to release the transcripts of his calls as Vice President with Ukrainian and Chinese leaders while his son was conducting shady business deals in those countries.”

Pelosi also just announced an official impeachment inquiry.
Nad(less) Nadler has been hopscotching around, unable to identify what He, and his merry idiots are doing for months now, since the Mueller fiasco didn't work for them.
Better yet. IF Every member of the House of Representatives (from both sides of the aisle) vote to Impeach.
It's all for NAUGHT. The Senate will turn it down, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts will have to preside over the Senate Like a Court Case. WHICH WILL NOT HAPPEN.
Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, and Nadler with the rest of the HOUSE Collection of Intellectual Midgets from the left...only want to stop the President because...as LEWANDOWSKI said last week...Democrats Hate Trump, More than they Love America.

Not getting 2/3rds vote anyway, so all would be a bin waste of time AND likely a reelection for Trump.

And I think the Biden conversations should follow.

Here's the way I see it...
Nothing will come of this, and if something does it won't be to force Trump from office. Why? Three words: President Mike Pence. Pence is a true conservative, unlike Trump, and they don't want Pence in the big chair for any amount of time. No, regardless of whether or not they have enough to impeach Trump (and I find it difficult to believe they would be unable to find something... anything), this whole thing, to my mind, is more about smearing his name (like he hasn't done that enough himself), staining it in voters' minds before the next election. Not his base, but those who may be thinking about voting for him (though I find it difficult to believe that anyone who is waffling would think voting Trump is a good idea... lesser of two evils... the devil you know... I suppose... fuck knows I wouldn't vote for any of the democrats being presented as their best...). This is also an effort to hamstring Trump, make it difficult for him to get anything done between now and the next election. They are convinced they are going to win. Again.

Russ... seriously... the White House are illegally blocking the whistleblower reports so no shit there is lack of information. If this is nothing then why illegally block the report?
You're just repeating the CNN lines, and you know it. The White House didn't "illegally" block the whistleblower reports - the DNI guy blocked releasing the whistleblower report on his own authority. You can guess that the White House asked him to do it, like CNN, but that is just your guess.

Besides Chucky making himself look like a completely pathetic idiot, (a finely-honed skill he has practiced constantly over the years) this makes it sound like Chucky is already expecting that the transcript will make Trump look just fine. One other thing - how is any part of Trump's call to the Ukraine any different from what Joe Biden did a few years back, and then bragged about it to the media? We don't even need a transcript - Joe bragged about it.

And then the littlest of weenies of course just sit around triggered all the time talking about how great they are and how the rest of us suck.
---
Why the Democrats Have Gone Insane
Impeach! Impeach, they say! If only he were Buckingham, they would take off his head as well. Trump has become the Democrats' version of Richard III, if he wasn't already. (Okay, he was.)
They even moved to open an impeachment "inquiry" (whatever that means -- a little bit chicken, if you ask me -- they've been doing it for the last three years anyway) after Trump announced he was making his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky public Wednesday in unredacted form. And now he's announcing the whistleblower's complaint, whatever hand it is -- second, third, who knows? -- will be released later in the week. Talk about a reckless jumping of the gun on the Democrats' parts. This reeks of outright panic.
So what's really going on here? Why have the Democrats, to put it bluntly, gone berserk? Why are they risking a backlash of cosmic proportions (other than appeasing their psychotically-inflamed base, of course)?
One, distraction. They live in absolute fear of the coming revelations about the Russia probe, from Inspector General Horowitz but even more from the DOJ's John Durham, who can actually put people in jail. The Dems know -- if they have a brain (and a few do) -- these revelations are likely to point up the line at the leaders of the Democratic Party all the way to President Obama. They were all involved to one degree or another with illegally spying on or undermining Trump and his administration and supporters before and after the election. The extent of this we are only beginning to understand.
To put it mildly, not good. Whether you call this treason is up to you, but you can be sure Middle America (i. e. those elusive independent voters) will not appreciate it.
But there's something worse -- and Pelosi's knows it. The only hope for Democrats to defeat Trump is, remote and quixotic as it may be, impeachment. In the midst of the current brouhaha, Joe Biden -- their great (alas white male) hope -- is being exposed as not just a senile plagiarist, but a senile, corrupt plagiarist with a freaky family out of a Southern gothic novel with tentacles reaching into China and Ukraine. Again, not good.
Unfortunately, the rest of the Dems have tacked so far to the left that they wouldn't be able to win an election in Shenyang. Sanders, speaking of senility, is almost risible. He wants to restrict population for reasons of "climate change" when every one of the myriad social programs he so vehemently urges depends on strong continued population growth for economic survival, irrespective of taxes. (Is he that stupid? I don't think so. He's just a liar.)
As for his somewhat subtle clone, Ms. Warren, her proposals are if anything more extreme because she fails to acknowledge (though Colbert did his best to encourage her) that they are going to cost a ton of taxpayer money that approaches national bankruptcy. Even taxing the rich at one hundred percent won't come near supporting her ideas. Wait until Trump gets ahold of that.
So for the Democrats, trouble ahead, trouble behind. Ergo, impeachment.
Of course it will never happen. (Pelosi knows that too. That's why she never held a congressional vote on this "inquiry.") And indeed the whole spectacle might be amusing in a macabre sort of way if there weren't important things going on in the world. The president is engaged in negotiations of tremendous significance with the Chinese and trying to neuter as much as possible the violent mullahs of Iran, but the Democrats don't care. In fact, they would prefer he fail, and seem to be doing everything in their power to make it so. To call that un-American is an understatement. Actually, it's despicable and deeply immoral, not just for the citizens of this country, but for the world. What children!

Democrats Wrote to Ukraine in May 2018, Demanding It Investigate Trump
Democrats wrote to the Ukrainian government in May 2018 urging it to continue investigations into President Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign — collusion later found not to exist.
The demand, which came from U.S. Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Patrick Leahy (D-VT), resurfaced Wednesday in an opinion piece written by conservative Marc Thiessen in the Washington Post.
Ironically, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) declared Tuesday that the mere possibility that President Trump had asked Ukraine to continue an investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden — even without a quid pro quo — was enough to trigger an impeachment inquiry. (Biden boasted in 2018 that he had forced Ukraine to remove its prosecutor by threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid; he did not tell his audience at the Council on Foreign Relations that the prosecutor was looking into a firm on whose board his son, Hunter Biden, was serving.)
Thiessen observed (original links):
It got almost no attention, but in May [2018], CNN reported that Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) wrote a letter to Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, expressing concern at the closing of four investigations they said were critical to the Mueller probe. In the letter, they implied that their support for U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake. Describing themselves as “strong advocates for a robust and close relationship with Ukraine,” the Democratic senators declared, “We have supported [the] capacity-building process and are disappointed that some in Kyiv appear to have cast aside these [democratic] principles to avoid the ire of President Trump,” before demanding Lutsenko “reverse course and halt any efforts to impede cooperation with this important investigation.”

More not surprising crap BS. And the timing, just enough to try and ruin Trump's campaign, of which WILL backfire, as I stated for a long time now. But some more good info to keep into the mix...
Fox News: IG Found ‘Whistleblower’ Had ‘Political Bias’ in Favor of Trump 2020 Rival
Ed Henry of Fox News reported Tuesday evening on Hannity that the Office of Intelligence Community Inspector General found that the so-called “whistleblower” who raised concerns about President Donald Trump’s discussions with foreign leaders had a “political bias” in favor of one of Trump’s rivals in the 2020 presidential election.
The inspector general’s report has, thus far, been withheld by the administration.
Democrats allege that the Trump administration is violating the law in keeping the report from Congress, which was the chief reason cited Tuesday by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for changing her mind and supporting an impeachment inquiry.
It is not clear why the administration had withheld the report, though the White House announced Tuesday that it will release the report Wednesday, along with the transcript of Trump’s conversation with the new president of Ukraine.
Henry, citing a “senior official” with first-hand knowledge of the inspector general’s report, said that the anonymous “whistleblower” — who did not hear Trump’s conversation directly — was biased in favor of one of Trump’s 2020 opponents, though the official did not say which one.
Henry also said the official had told him that there would be no “smoking gun” in the transcript of Trump’s conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — even though there would be “at least a few words” in it that would cause unspecified problems for the White House.
Hannity added that his sources had also told him that Trump and Zelensky had only briefly discussed the aborted investigation into a company on whose board Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, had served. Biden boasted last year that he had forced the Ukrainian prosecutor out by threatening to withhold $1 billion in aid.

Whistleblower Lawyer’s Resume Includes Work for Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer
The whistleblower who sparked a political firestorm after claiming that President Trump pressed Ukraine’s leader to re-open an inquiry into Hunter Biden’s business dealings is represented by national security lawyer Mark Zaid, a frequent Trump critic, as well as Andrew Bakaj, who worked for former Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) announced on Tuesday that the whistleblower expressed a desire to speak to the committee and confirmed that lawmakers are speaking to his or her counsel. Schiff added that the testimony could come as “soon as this week”:

The announcement sparked questions about the lawyers representing the whistleblower. Andrew P. Bakaj, a former CIA official and founding/partnering manager of the Washington DC-based Compass Rose Legal Group, is one of the attorneys representing the whistleblower. He and the firm specialize in “adverse security clearance actions, whistleblower activities, and individuals, corporations, and organizations who are facing criminal and/or administrative investigations.”

“Biden Does Have A Problem” On Ukraine Says… CNN Contributor
While most of the people in media are pushing the Democrat narrative on Ukraine, they are ignoring Joe Biden’s problems on this issue.
One contributor on CNN spoke out though, and he was quite frank.
Joe Biden has a problem here.
The Washington Free Beacon reports:
Burisma ‘Clearly’ Paid Hunter Biden to Sell Influence, Says CNN Contributor
Joe Biden’s family ties to an influence peddling scheme at a Ukrainian gas company could hurt the former vice president’s 2020 campaign, political scientist Ian Bremmer told CNN on Tuesday.
“[Joe] Biden does have a problem here. I have to say $50,000 a month for Hunter Biden—clearly to be selling influence because otherwise, no one would ever pay him that kind of money—for a company that, frankly, was pretty corrupt and has been before and has been since under investigation,” Bremmer said….
“It’s hard to imagine Joe Biden wasn’t aware of it,” Bremmer said. “I expect that President Obama, if he had known about the reality of the situation, would’ve probably told Biden ‘get rid of this, we shouldn’t have your son working in this situation.’ That would have cost him something. I fear even if maybe Biden wasn’t aware but Biden should’ve been aware that that would cause an issue for him.”

Now I hope THIS is true, and Rudy and others know what they're doing!!
“They Have Walked Into a Trap!” -Rudy Giuliani Destroys Democrat Party, FBI and BIDEN CRIME FAMILY
President Trump personal attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani went on with Laura Ingraham on Tuesday night following Nancy Pelosi’s big impeachment announcement.
Democrats announced on Tuesday they will open an impeachment investigation on President Trump for speaking to the Ukrainian president on the phone about the Biden Crime Family’s money laundering from the Ukrainian people.
Rudy was ON FIRE and dropped several bombs on the unsuspecting Democrats during the interview.
Rudy warned Democrats, “They have walked into a trap.”
Rudy dropped this bomb on the Biden Crime Family, “I have the records of $3 million payments laundered to Biden’s son. I have the records. I have the dates. It went from Ukraine, to Latvia to Cyprus, Cyprus to him. That’s called evidence of guilty knowledge… He got $1.5 billion from China! $1.5 Billion!… They bought the Vice President of the United States!”
Rudy then went on to explain his role in the Ukrainian investigation. They’re not going to intimidate me! I never realized the depth of the corruption! I never knew the depth of this corruption. It’s massive, it’s shocking. And if I played a role in getting that out I did a service to my country and I’m proud of it. And everything I did was legal and defensible.”
Laura continued to interrupt Rudy throughout the interview.
Rudy then broke this development. He was investigating Ukraine because the Ukrainian prosecutor installed by Biden dismissed the case on the organization that was collecting false information on Donald Trump, on Paul Manafort and feeding it to the Democratic National Committee. “That organization was run by George Soros who then hired the crooked FBI agent who is now working for George Soros.”
This was an amazing video!

Surprise! After Trump Authorizes Release of Ukraine Phone Transcript, New Report of “Multiple Allegations” by Whistleblower
Here we go. Now that President Trump has authorized the release of the unredacted transcript of his July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky in response to a leak of an alleged whistleblower complaint regarding the phone call, there is a new report that the whistleblower has made “multiple allegations” against Trump. The new report also comes after Speaker Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump late Tuesday afternoon also in response to the leak.
CBS News White House correspondent Weijia Jiang added the new wrinkle in Tuesday night’s report for the CBS Evening News, “The White House is shrugging off the impeachment inquiry and sources say it shows how “desperate” the Democrats are. But @CBSNews has learned the whistleblower’s complaint involves multiple allegations.”

Republicans, unlike Dems, agree on the rule of law. So they will demand to see transcripts, as do I. It will prove Trump did nothing wrong. If not...
But the Dems are never satisfied - as that is NOT their goal. Their goal is to get rid of him - or obstruct and toss shit at the fan 24x7 as something will stick, even if false BS, so that's their hope.
So even though I think Trump should follow the rule of law and release, as do leading R's - where do they stand on the facts of the issue - and Americans as well?

Republicans Fire Back on Impeachment: 'Facts Be Damned'
Republicans reacted swiftly and bitterly Tuesday after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., announced a formal impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump for allegedly asking the Ukrainian president to investigate Joe Biden, with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy declaring "facts be damned."
"Democrats are insisting this is their moment to impeach President Trump," the California Republican told reporters. "Speaker Pelosi's decree changes nothing."
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., bashed Pelosi's announcement as a "rush to judgment" demonstrating that Democrats will "descend even deeper into their obsession with re-litigating 2016."
"Speaker Pelosi's much-publicized efforts to restrain her far-left conference have finally crumbled," McConnell said. "House Democrats cannot help themselves."
Pelosi said the House would open a formal impeachment inquiry of President Trump, arguing that he had violated his oath of office and obligations under the Constitution.
"The president must be held accountable," she told reporters. "No one is above the law."
...
"It is all about undoing the 2016 election and the will of the American people," Jordan tweeted.
Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., a ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, one of the panels involved in the probe, ripped Pelosi's decision as "pandering to progressive base. Constitution deserves better."
Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., chair of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, tweeted: "You can't make it up."
"So we are all clear what's happening: House Democrats are supposedly beginning an impeachment inquiry, and building it on an anonymous second-hand complaint they haven't seen, which describes a call transcript that they haven't read," he said.
Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel denounced the Democratic move as "a political vendetta from the start."
"Since before he was even sworn in, far-left Democrats have plotted to impeach @realDonaldTrump," she said on Twitter.
"They didn’t get what they wanted from their Russia collusion delusion," she continued. "Now this."
McDaniel later tweeted that the whistleblower on the original complaint, who has not been identified, reportedly hired lawyers with ties to Democrats Hillary Clinton and Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, N.Y.
"Give me a break," she said.
But Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said Pelosi's announcement amounted to very little, since the House Judiciary Committee has been conducting its own probe since April.
"She didn't say it's beginning," he added. "If she's talking about bringing articles of impeachment, that's very newsworthy.
"To say that the investigation continues, I get that it's news," Kennedy said, "but I don't think it's as newsworthy as some have argued."
Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, said that "Speaker Pelosi and the House Democrats have abdicated their duty to the Constitution and to the American people by launching a partisan impeachment inquiry into the president."
Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., accused Democrats of being less concerned about the nation's spiraling debt than impeaching the president, tweeting "it's still growing" and including the most recent debt amount: $22.61 trillion.
Lambasting Pelosi for opening an investigation without seeing the whistleblower complaint or the Trump transcript was central to other Republican attacks.
Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., tweeted: "Democrats have launched an impeachment inquiry based on a whistle-blower's second-hand account of a phone call, but couldn't bother to wait for the actual transcript of the call itself."
Rep. Jody Hice, R-Ga., poked that Pelosi's "red line" was "a whistleblower complaint (the report on which nobody has seen) expressing second-hand concerns about a phone call between President Trump and a foreign leader (the transcript of which nobody has read)."
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., praised Trump for his "unprecedented act of transparency" in pledging to release the transcript but said of Democrats: "I only wish they'd get the facts before jumping to a conclusion, while dedicating a fraction of the energy to improving the lives of Arkansans."
His colleague, Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said Democrats were "beating the impeachment drum and cranking up the outrage machine."
Tim Murtaugh, communications director for Trump's 2020 campaign, said Democrats were "trying to turn a Joe Biden scandal into a Donald Trump scandal.
"For almost three years, they've wanted to overturn the legitimate results of the 2016 election," he tweeted. "At first, they thought the Russia Hoax was their answer, but that predictably fell apart."
Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, who sits on the House Ways and Means Committee, which also is involved in the investigation, tweeted that Democrats "have a simple message for the American people: You don't matter.
"Democrats are only creating a constitutional crisis for pure political gain."

Politico/Morning Consult Poll: Voters Oppose Trump Impeachment Effort
Only 36% of voters believe Congress should begin impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, a new Politico/Morning Consult poll reveals.
Forty-nine percent say Congress should not begin impeachment proceedings. Fifteen percent had no opinion.
A poll taken a week earlier had shown 37% favoring the start of impeachment proceedings and 50% against it.
The latest poll was conducted Sept. 20-22 — before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's announcement on Tuesday that Democrats will pursue an impeachment inquiry.
Here are highlights from the new poll released on Wednesday:
5% of Republicans say Congress should begin impeachment proceedings, compared to 89% who disagree.
66% of Democrats believe Congress should open impeachment proceedings, while 17% disagree.
33% of independents say Congress should begin impeachment proceedings, compared to 45% who disagree.
23% say they have heard "a lot" about the whistleblower's complaint centering on Ukraine, 31% have heard "some," 23% had not heard much, and 23% had heard "nothing at all."
41% approve of the job Trump is doing as president, compared to 55% who disapprove.
The poll surveyed 1,994 registered voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.

Some pretty shady crap by Biden and Son back in the day...
Peter Schweizer: Biden Ukraine dealings – 7 essential facts
1. Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, joined the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma in April 2014, according to RSB bank records. Hunter Biden had little background in energy. Over a 16-month period, Burisma paid $3.1 million to a bank account associated with Hunter’s business.
2. Joe Biden led the Obama administration’s policy toward Ukraine when he served as vice president. Biden helped shape Ukraine’s energy and anti-corruption policies, issues that directly impact Burisma.
3. Burisma sought to capitalize Hunter Biden’s name and relationships. According to The New York Times, Hunter Biden helped assemble the company’s legal team, which consisted of American attorneys and consulting firms, including a former Obama Justice Department official.
4. Burisma is led by an oligarch named Mykola Zlochevsky. Zlochevsky served as ecology minister under pro-Russia former Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovich, leading to allegations that he used his office to benefit Burisma.
5. Burisma was under legal scrutiny. Shortly before Hunter Biden was appointed to Burisma’s board, British authorities froze $23 million of Zlochevsky’s assets as part of a corruption investigation. Ukraine opened its own probe later that year.
6. Financial records from Morgan Stanley show numerous lines of money going into the account of “Robert H. Biden.” The funds originated from oligarchs and anonymous LLCs in Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan and elsewhere.
7. In 2013, then-Vice President Biden and his son Hunter flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Ten days later, Hunter Biden’s firm scored a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China.

THIS I not only agree with much of - it's what I stated would happen - that Trump would ultimately get more support as a result. Time shall tell with what facts come of all of this.
--
Nancy Pelosi just made one of the most colossal blunders in modern American politics
On Tuesday evening Nancy Pelosi made one of the most colossal blunders in the modern history of American electoral politics. Rejecting the accumulated wisdom of a long and successful career in the House of Representatives, she set aside her own instincts and announced the beginning of formal impeachment proceedings against President Trump on the basis of a third-hand rumor about a phone call with the president of a Eurasian republic.
Pelosi knows this will not be popular. She knows more than that. She knows that it will be a disaster for the Democratic Party, that it will inflame the president's base and inspire even his most lukewarm supporters with a sense of outrage. She knows that in states like Michigan, upon which her party's chances in 2020 will depend, the question of impeachment does not poll well. She knows, further, that Joe Biden will not be able to spend the next 14 or so months refusing to answer questions about the activities of his son, Hunter, in Ukraine, and that increased scrutiny of the vice president's record in office will not redound to his credit. She and her fellow Democratic leaders had better hope that someone like Elizabeth Warren manages to steal the nomination away from him before this defines his candidacy the way that Hillary Clinton's emails and paid speechmaking did during and after the 2016 primaries.
Why? Because her hand has been forced. The same members of her caucus who have clamored for Trump's impeachment on the basis of his immigration policy, his non-existent collusion with Russian authorities during the last presidential election, and his ownership of various hotels have once again lighted upon high crimes and misdemeanors. While it is probably clear to some other members of the party's leadership that impeachment is a non-starter — not only because it is unpopular but because it will go nowhere in the Senate — the feeling seems to be that they have no other choice. Too many younger Democrats whose own political fortunes do not depend upon the party's national appeal, much less its control of the White House, have been allowed to control the conversation. Some of them are cynical, others merely naïve, but the takeaway is the same regardless: The hydra is eating its own heads. Pelosi should have known better than to feed it in the first place.
Where is all of this headed? In her press conference Pelosi bandied idle threats, but she knows she cannot enforce them. She also knows, surely, that she did not need to make them in the first place. Trump has made an end run around the Democrats by announcing that he will release a transcript of his phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday morning. If there is nothing in the text that justifies the perfervid speculation of his liberal enemies — and it is impossible to imagine his agreeing to its release if there were — it will not be possible to retreat from the opening of impeachment proceedings without embarrassment.

Yup, all you have are insults when facts and facts and more facts come out, that supports ANYTHING you disagree with - OR anything negative about the left - and that's when you disappear.
I put country over everything and made it clear what I support and who I would instantly drop if proven to have broken such laws. So your lame name calling and accusations fall completely flat. ESPECIALLY as you absolve 100% of anything from the left, as you try to play gotcha games with everything and anything Trump - and fail like a thousand times in a row. You DO NOT LEARN and then you come back with name calling - a sure sign of a sore LOSER.
But keep bringing us the Comedy Gold. You are a very small window into how the left folks are and how they operate. I LOVE seeing you here, as it reminds me of the lefts beliefs and how they do in fact operate, and how they make me smile with the stupidity. Sure, I can go to their websites, or others to read about their failures. But YOU, you bring it right here FOR me. And YES, you put your BS in writing, and then you AND the left FAIL, and then as it sits here in writing, and we laugh at you each and every single time - and then you add in with the comedy by finding excuse after excuse as to why you all fail, why you fail. :)

I'll be curious to see Biden get a word in about anything at all other than this news while campaigning. And if any of it at all gets properly investigated, he's toast in the election. America doesn't want to see impeachment crap unless it's 100% proven true facts.... and when it comes out that it's political, and the parties involved, and who is supporting them - it'll come down to the continuation of the same 'ol same 'ol - helping Trump just as I said it would.

4. Dems in Congress start howling about "impeach!"
5. Adam Schiff does ad nauseum interviews where he claims to have special knowledge that Trump is guilty of some monumental crime and everyone will be shocked when they know what he secretly knows
6. The initial report comes out, and it surprising shows no evidence against Trump
7. Dems, including Adam Schiff, stammer and stutter and change their chant toward "Show up the full report - that will clear things up!"

9. Dems, including Adam Schiff, stammer and stutter and change their chant toward "Mueller must testify!"
10. Mueller testifies, and it surprising shows no evidence against Trump
11. Dems, including Adam Schiff, stammer and stutter and then break into childish sobs.

I see the gotcha comedy gold continued - and failed again for the 9,000th time! Pete was right though, with the anonymous sources and the actual source laughing at it - there WAS nothing to see here! :laugh2:
And now, with things officialy seen by intelligence members... Dems too, but not very intelligent, claim it's a smoking gun - while folks not trying to play games just laugh at it and call it a nothingburger - again. Gonna go nowhere - other than the Dems playing games and hoping that the negativity of another investigation will harm Trump in 2020. I think it does the opposite.
Now, I DO fully expect the comedy to continue, especially from Pete believing every anonymous source out there. But reality will be what wins, just like 2016.

BREAKING: Whistleblower Complaint Has Been Released and It's Another Nothingburger
The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released the declassified whistleblower complaint on President Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Utah Republican Rep. Chris Stewart said he was initially "anxious" before reading it, but is now is "much more confident than I was this morning that this is going to go nowhere. ... there are just no surprises there." He added, "The entirety of it is focused on this one thing, and that's the transcript of one phone call, the transcript that was released [Wednesday] morning."
According to the anonymous whistleblower, "I was not a direct witness to most of these events described," but instead based the complaint on "various facts" he or she was informed of by "more than half a dozen officials." The whistleblower claims to have learned from "multiple U.S. officials" that "senior White House officials had intervened to 'lock down' all records of the phone call."
Here's another interesting part:
During this same timeframe, multiple U.S. officials told me that the Ukrainian leadership was led to believe that a meeting or phone call between the President and President Zelenskyy would depend on whether Zelenskyy showed willingness to "play ball" on the issues that had been publicly aired by Mr. Lutsenko and Mr. Giuliani.
This sounds eerily similar to the fake news that ABC reported that discussing the Biden probe was a precondition of the two leaders having the phone call.
Overall, the complaint centers around the July 25th phone call, and uses anonymous sources and media reports to substantiate the complaint.
President Trump reacted to the release on Twitter:
“Is their a case for impeachment? Absolutely not!” There is no high crimes or misdemeanors, no treason, no extortion, no treason.” RD Robert Ray, respected
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 26, 2019
Fred Fleitz, former NSC Chief of Staff, CIA analyst and House Intelligence Committee staff member, read and reacted to the complaint on Twitter. "As a former CIA analyst and former NSC official who edited transcripts of POTUS phone calls with foreign leaders, here are my thoughts on the whistleblower complaint which was just released... This is not an intelligence matter. It is a policy matter and a complaint about differences over policy. Presidential phone calls are not an intelligence concern. The fact that IC officers transcribe these calls does not give the IC IG jusrisdiction [sic] over these calls."

This is the kind of news that Pete and many others have been eating up and screaming about and running with. Facts be damned.
How does such a major and reputable news agency report something that is SO off, no fact checking, just guessing and/or believing anything they wish to be true?

Fake News: ABC News Claims That Biden Probe Was a Precondition for Trump-Zelenksy Call
Late Wednesday evening, ABC News reported that Serhiy Leshchenko, an "advisor" to Ukrainian President Zelensky, claimed that discussing the Biden case was a precondition of him having communications with President Trump. "This issue was raised many times. I know that Ukrainian officials understood." According to ABC News, "The Trump administration’s alleged insistence that the two leaders discuss a prospective investigation into Biden, one of the president’s political opponents, casts his July 25 conversation with Zelenskiy in a new light."
Except it probably doesn't. It turns out that Serhiy Leshchenko advised Zelensky's transition team in April, but is no longer an advisor. ABC News added the following correction to their story:
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article incorrectly described Serhiy Leshchenko as a current advisor to Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Leshchenko advised Zelenskiy’s transition team following his election in April but has since been distanced by the administration. He is no longer advising Zelenskiy.
The call at issue here took place in July, and Leshchenko had stopped advising Zelensky in the spring. The story further fell apart when Christopher Miller, a correspondent for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, reported that Leshchenko himself confirmed to him that he did not tell ABC News that discussing a Biden probe was a precondition for the call:
Setting record straight: @Leshchenkos confirmed to me what those of us in Kyiv already knew—he is NOT currently an advisor to Ukraine's Zelenskiy & wasn't at time of July 25 call. He said he DID NOT tell ABC insistence for leaders to discuss Biden probe was precondition for call. https://t.co/fNh5sMYj9i
— Christopher Miller (@ChristopherJM) September 26, 2019
How exactly does a major media outlet get a story so consequential so wrong? Democrats are pushing forward with impeachment over this call, and ABC News is reporting an allegedly incriminatory allegation that, based on what we know now, is completely bogus. How many on the left will still believe it to be true?

Impeachment Threat Leads to Big One-Day Fundraising Haul for Trump and GOP
As plans in their never-ending quest to derail President Trump and get him out of office go, Tuesday's impeachment fever probably isn't bearing the fruit that Democrats hoped for. The early evidence indicates that the threat may have done more to energize the Republican base than anyone else.
In Wednesday's Morning Briefing I noted that the president was treating the impeachment circus as a campaign opportunity, and that seems to have gone very well for Team Trump:
In the 24 hours since news of Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment announcement, @realDonaldTrump’s campaign & @GOP have BLOWN OUT fundraising!
?$5 Million combined in 24 hrs
?Donors in all 50 states
Huge groundswell of support leading to Trump landslide in 2020!
— Brad Parscale (@parscale) September 25, 2019
Even in the modern era of big-money politics, that is a substantial haul all-around for the president and the party. The National Republican Congressional Committee reports that its effort to retake the House was buoyed by an increase of more than six hundred percent in online fundraising:
And the NRCC's online fundraising was up 608% yesterday. Thank you, @SpeakerPelosi and de facto Speaker @AOC! https://t.co/FMvhrQbsbq

Trump Campaign Has Huge Influx of Donations After Pelosi's Impeachment Announcement
If you need more evidence that impeachment is bad news for the Democrats, look no further than Trump's fundraising numbers. After Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry of President Trump, his campaign raised a million dollars in just three hours. Over 24 hours, the campaign raised $5 million, according to Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.

On Tuesday evening, Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment investigation over Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky where Democrats believed there was an illegal quid pro quo. The transcript of the phone call revealed there was no quid pro quo, no threat of withholding aid, and the DOJ, which investigated the call in August, determined there was nothing illegal in the call.
Yahoo Finance reports that "Trump has had incredible fundraising success, currently holding $56.7 million cash on hand, according to the latest FEC filings. So far, the president has raised more than $120 million for the 2020 election, crushing Democratic candidates in fundraising totals. Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders, who has achieved the most fundraising success, has pulled in roughly $46.5 million so far."

Pro-Impeachment Liberal Media Deceptively Twists Trump-Zelensky Transcript
The Democrats and the media have been scrambling to spin the nothing-burger that is the transcript between Trump's call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a negative for Trump. If it really was so bad, perhaps they can explain why the media has falsely implied that Trump when asked for a favor that it was about Biden, and not about investigating 2016 election interference.
Here are CNN and MSNBC deliberately misrepresenting the transcript:
MSNBC's @KatyTurNBC did it too.
Absolutely despicable. pic.twitter.com/EFlCO9lz7m
— Steve Guest (@SteveGuest) September 25, 2019
Wolf Blitzer and Jim Acosta also misrepresenting the favor again on CNN following Trump's press conference Wednesday afternoon:
Heres' the transcript from Newsbusters:
BLITZER: Jim Acosta is there at the news conference. Jim, you’re there in New York. And let's not forget, in the -- this summary that was released by the White House, the President specifically quoted as saying to the Ukrainian president, “I would like you to do us a favor” and then goes into an investigation into the Bidens and the Democrats.
JIM ACOSTA: That is right, Wolf. And the President never really asked -- or answered the question. I tried to ask the question as he was walking out of the room, what did he mean by “could you do us a favor.” He never really explained what he was talking about with respect to that question.
NPR also deceptively edited the transcript in a story:
The highlighted ellipsis in this NPR story represents 526 words https://t.co/8nPQT2gfuA pic.twitter.com/PX2f1Opz16
— Alex Griswold (@HashtagGriswold) September 25, 2019
Here's what Trump really asked a favor about, per the transcript:
I would like you to do us a favor, though, because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… the server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you and your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you said yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible.
To omit this from their reporting wasn't a simple oversight, it was deliberate. Here's an image of the transcript highlighting where Trump asks for a favor, and where Biden actually comes up:
https://static.pjmedia.com/trending/user-content/51/files/2019/09/favorbiden-666x1024.jpg
That's a lot of content being ignored in order to connect the "favor" with the suggestion to look into the Biden matter.
So, one can't help asking, if the transcript on its own was so damning, why is the media deliberately misrepresenting what it says?

And more....
Blitzer and Acosta LIE About the ‘Favor’ Trump Asked of Ukrainian President
Moments after President Trump’s Wednesday press conference before a hostile press itching for his impeachment, CNN’s The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer and chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta preyed on the fact that most people had not read the transcript of the phone call between Trump and the president of Ukraine and blatantly lied about the “favor” Trump asked for.
After getting some ridiculous analysis from their left-wing panel of journalists, Blitzer wanted to go to Acosta, who was on location at the Intercontinental Hotel. “And let's not forget, in the -- this summary that was released by the White House, the President specifically quoted as saying to the Ukrainian president, ‘I would like you to do us a favor’ and then goes into an investigation into the Bidens and the Democrats,” he lied.
Instead of telling the truth, Acosta backed up his colleague’s falsehood: “That is right, Wolf. And the President never really asked -- or answered the question. I tried to ask the question as he was walking out of the room, what did he mean by ‘could you do us a favor.’ He never really explained what he was talking about with respect to that question.”
In reality, any honest person who actually read the transcript knew the “favor” had nothing to with Biden:

ABC, NBC Hide IG Warning of the Whistleblower’s Anti-Trump ‘Political Bias’
While the liberal media was treating the newly released transcript of President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as the smoking gun they needed to impeach him, the CBS Evening News flashed a shred of honesty on Wednesday and reported that the Justice Department was warning lawmakers of the whistleblower’s anti-Trump “political bias.” Although, CBS’s reporting did have their own political bias problems.
It was a fact completely omitted from the cascade of Trump impeachment coverage found on ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News. “The Dependent of Justice warned the whistleblower's information was ‘secondhand’ and that there are indications, quote, ‘of an arguable political bias on the part of the complainant,’” reported CBS chief congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes.
But her report could have used some more nuance. According to an exclusive Fox News report from Tuesday night, it wasn’t just the DOJ who found that problem with the Whistleblower, but it was their internal watchdog, inspector general’s office:
A senior Trump administration official told Fox News late Tuesday that the administration will release a document showing the intelligence community inspector general found the whistleblower who leveled an explosive accusation against President Trump concerning his talks with Ukraine had indications of “political bias” in favor of “a rival candidate” of the president.

Devin Nunes Opening Statement on Whistleblower Report – “Hearsay Evidence” by Biased Operative – A Gross Spectacle (FULL STATEMENT)
Here is the opening statement by ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes at the House Intelligence Committee Hearing.
Nunes Opening Statement for Whistleblower Disclosure Hearing
September 26, 2019
I want to congratulate the Democrats on the rollout of their latest information warfare operation against the President, and their extraordinary ability once again to enlist the mainstream media in their campaign.
This operation began with media reports—from the prime instigators of the Russian collusion hoax—that a whistleblower is claiming President Trump made a nefarious “promise” to a foreign leader. The released transcript of the call has already debunked that central assertion, but that didn’t matter. The Democrats simply moved the goalposts and began claiming that there doesn’t need to be a quid pro quo for this conversation to serve as the basis for impeaching the president.
Speaker Pelosi went even further when asked earlier if she’d put the brakes on impeachment if the transcript turned out to be benign. She responded, “We have many other candidates for impeachable offenses.” So there you go—if their whistleblower operation doesn’t work out, the Democrats and their media assets can always drum up something else.
And what other information has come to light since the original false report of a “promise” being made? We’ve learned the following:
The complaint relied on hearsay evidence provided by the whistleblower.
The Inspector General did not know the contents of the phone call at issue.
The Inspector General found that the whistleblower displayed “arguable political bias” against Trump.
The Department of Justice investigated the complaint and determined no action was warranted.
The Ukrainian President denies being pressured by President Trump.
So, once again, this supposed scandal ends up being nothing like what we were told. And once again, the Democrats, their media mouthpieces, and a cabal of leakers are ginning up a fake story, with no regard to the monumental damage they’re causing to our public institutions and to trust in government, and without acknowledging all the false stories they propagated in the past, including countless allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to hack the 2016 election. We’re supposed to forget about all those stories but believe this one. In short, what we have with this storyline is another Steele dossier.
I’ll note here that, in the Democrats’ mania to overturn the 2016 elections, everything they touch gets hopelessly politicized. With the Russia hoax it was our intelligence agencies, which were turned into a political weapon to attack the president. And today, the whistleblower process is the casualty. Until about a week ago, the need to protect that process was a primary bipartisan concern of this committee. But if the Democrats were really concerned with defending that process, they would have pursued this matter with quiet and sober inquiries, as we always do for whistleblowers.
But that would’ve been useless for them. They don’t want answers, they want a public spectacle. And so we’ve been treated to an unending parade of press releases, press conferences, and fake news stories.
This hearing itself is another example—whistleblower inquiries should not be held in public at all, as our Senate counterparts, both Democrats and Republicans, obviously understand—their hearing with Mr. Maguire is behind closed doors. But again, that only makes sense when your goal is to get information, not to create a media frenzy.
The current hysteria has something else in common with the Russia hoax. Back then, they accused the Trump campaign of colluding with Russians when the Democrats themselves were colluding with Russians in preparing the Steele dossier. Today, they accuse the president of pressuring Ukrainians to take actions that would help himself or hurt his political opponents. And yet, there are numerous examples of Democrats doing the exact same thing. For example:
Joe Biden bragged that he extorted the Ukrainians into firing a prosecutor, who happened to be investigating Biden’s own son.
Three Democrat senators wrote a letter pressuring the Ukrainian general prosecutor to reopen investigations it reportedly froze on former Trump campaign officials.
Another Democratic senator went to Ukraine and pressured the Ukrainian President not to investigate corruption allegations involving Biden’s son.
According to Ukrainian officials, Democratic National Committee contractor Alexandra Chalupa tried to get Ukrainian officials to provide dirt on Trump associates and tried to get the former Ukrainian President to comment publicly on their alleged ties to Russia.
Ukrainian official Serhiy Leshchenko was a source for Nellie Ohr, wife of Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr, as she worked on the anti-Trump operation conducted by Fusion GPS and funded by the Democrats.
And of course, Democrats on this very committee negotiated with people they thought were Ukrainians in order to obtain nude pictures of Trump.
As you see, it’s a reliable rule of thumb in these information operations that whatever the Democrats accuse you of doing, they’re doing themselves.
People can reasonably ask why the Democrats are so determined to impeach this president when in just a year they’ll have a chance to vote him out of office. In fact, one Democratic congressman—one of the first to call for Trump’s impeachment—gave us the answer when he said, “I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach the president, he will get reelected.”
Yes, winning elections is hard, and when you compete you have no guarantee you’ll win. But the American people should have a say in all this, and they made their voices heard in the election. This latest gambit by the Democrats to overturn the people’s mandate is unhinged and dangerous.
They should end this entire dishonest, grotesque spectacle and get back to solving problems, which is what every member of this committee was sent here to do. Judging by today’s charade, however, the chances of that happening anytime soon are zero to none.

My God eventually they will have another President in office, and it is almost a certainty that for at least 2 years of said Presidency the GOP will control the House, and OF COURSE they are going to retaliate, because the people in Washington are all a bunch of useless scum children who shouldn't even be running lemonade stands let alone our country.
This is why I have said for the last year, it's time to nip this in the fucking bud. Trump's President, get the fuck over it, and whatever crimes Dems may or may not have committed in the past. Let's move on.
BUT , when they have spent every waking moment of the last 3 years accusing Trump of being a fucking traitor, for allegedly doing the things they themselves are doing no less, I"m sorry I can't really get mad about Trump wanting to expose THEIR crimes. I just can't.
Let's look at a few fact patterns.
In the time frame when Hillary Clinton was running for President the Clinton Foundation was raking in millions of dollars from a lot of the same people who had been trying to get into see her personally when she was SOS , literally the day after she lost in 2016 the Foundation stopped receiving any such donations and eventually shut down due to lack of interest.
Gee , I wonder why these folks were giving money to her charity when she was either in a position of power, or they thought she would be
Second fact pattern.
Biden's son is a fucking worthless drug addict. in what conceivable way was he qualified to sit on the board of directors of a Ukranian energy company, especially with a compensation package that paid roughly $50K a month. I mean come on.
And if he was a valuable employee , why is that he left the board roughly the same time his dad left the White House. I don't believe in coincidences.
Oh Hunter Biden managed to get another high paying job with a Chinese firm that mysteriously also ended at about the same time that his dad left the White House. Hmmmm
Other than those two accomplishments, Hunter's claim to fame is that he received a waiver to join the Navy Reserve (actually two waivers, one for his age at the time 42, and one for a previous drug conviction) but was still discharged from the military for failing a drug test.
I mean we're talking about a piece of shit here. If his daddy wasn't a US Senator and then VP this dude would have been in jail for cocaine possession a long time ago.
But somehow the orange bastard who donates his pay back to the government and who's family business has donates all compensation from businesses they have in foreign companies to the US Treasury is the guy who is abusing his power to enrich himself.
You'd have to be some kind of retarded to believe that. Fuck , if you don't like Trump , that's understandable , he's an asshole at times, but he's the most trasnparent President we've ever seen. If he was going to blackmail Ukraine, he'd tweet that shit out , everyone remember "hey Russia if you have them emails, send them to the news channels?" He isn't sneaky like Democrats. Sometimes that is to his own detriment.

Wall Street Democrats Threaten To Sit Out 2020 If Warren Is The Nominee
JOHN SEXTONPosted at 3:21 pm on September 26, 2019
With Elizabeth Warren surging in recent polls, some Wall Street Democrats are getting worried about what a Warren administration would mean for them. CNBC reports some donors are even talking about sitting the next election out if Warren is the nominee:
Democratic donors on Wall Street and in big business are preparing to sit out the presidential campaign fundraising cycle — or even back President Donald Trump — if Sen. Elizabeth Warren wins the party’s nomination.
In recent weeks, CNBC spoke to several high-dollar Democratic donors and fundraisers in the business community and found that this opinion was becoming widely shared as Warren, an outspoken critic of big banks and corporations, gains momentum against Joe Biden in the 2020 race.
“You’re in a box because you’re a Democrat and you’re thinking, ‘I want to help the party, but she’s going to hurt me, so I’m going to help President Trump,’” said a senior private equity executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity in fear of retribution by party leaders…
“They will not support her. It would be like shutting down their industry,” an executive at one of the nation’s largest banks told CNBC, also speaking on condition of anonymity.
Warren seems to be reveling in all of this. Earlier this month she reacted to a discussion about Wall Street’s fears of her possible presidency by saying she endorsed the message.

Yes because the people on Wal Street arent' there because they are stupid. They know that Trump has improved the economy via his policies, and they know Warren would destroy the economy. That's all they care about. They don't about trans this or trans that, they don't care about climate change. Ever known an investment banker? They know one thing, money.

Trump On The Whistleblower’s Sources: In The Old Days, This Country Knew How To Deal With Spies
ALLAHPUNDITPosted at 4:01 pm on September 26, 2019
The point of having a formal whistleblower process is to encourage government officials who have information on misconduct to report it, without fear of retaliation. If you want to drain the swamp, make sure the swamp creatures understand that they could have their corruption exposed and won’t be allowed to threaten the witness when they do. Joseph Maguire specifically promised at this morning’s hearing, in fact, that he wouldn’t tolerate any retaliation against whoever wrote the whistleblower complaint on Ukraine.
So here’s the president casually hinting to a roomful of people today that the people responsible for supplying the information for the complaint would have been executed if America was great again. And not just any roomful of people. He was addressing U.S. diplomatic staff — people who are in a position themselves to be whistleblowers potentially if they witness misconduct.
Imagine being a Senate Republican who’s already feeling queasy about the impeachment fight now having to defend this. You’re grasping for arguments that the president’s intentions on Ukraine and the Bidens weren’t sinister. And suddenly he’s like wait until I get my hands on whoever reported this…
The remark stunned people in the audience, according to a person briefed on what took place, who had notes of what the president said. Mr. Trump made the statement about several minutes into his remarks before the group of about 50 people at the event intended to honor the United States Mission. At the outset, he condemned the former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s role in Ukraine at a time when his son Hunter Biden was on the board of a Ukrainian energy company…
“I want to know who’s the person who gave the whistle-blower the information because that’s close to a spy,” Mr. Trump said. “You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart with spies and treason, right? We used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”…
Some in the crowd laughed, the person briefed on what took place said. The event was closed to reporters, and during his remarks, the president called the news media “scum” in addition to labeling them as crooked.
That reminded me of a vivid quote from a story I read last night about the political bind congressional Republicans are in over the Ukraine matter:
Months ago, one House member from a firmly red district described feeling like the most wanted man in his state after he made a vote Trump didn’t like.
“Trump has said he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone dead and and not lose any supporters,” said the member. “Well, if that happens I’d better be photographed stuffing a body into the trunk of a car, or my constituents will demand to know why I’m not supporting the president.”
Could the president shoot a whistleblower on Fifth Avenue and not lose a single vote? We’ll find out.
It’s tempting to say “ugh” about his remarks to staff at the UN Mission and then move on but Democrats are eager for material to add to their impeachment case against him. Openly threatening the whistleblower and/or his sources is arguably obstruction of justice. After all, the officials who gave information to the whistleblower about Trump and Ukraine might eventually be called to testify before Congress to substantiate the allegations in the complaint. The president’s now on record as saying that he regards them as little better than spies. The federal law on witness tampering prohibits knowingly using “intimidation” with intent to prevent a witness from testifying. Democrats are probably going to toss this into the articles of impeachment and call it separate and independent grounds to impeach. What will Republicans say?
Yeah, I know: “He was joking.” People laughed, right?
Is it even clear from the whistleblower complaint, by the way, that the sources meant to blow the whistle on Trump? The impression I got from it isn’t that they were feeding information to the author in the hope and expectation that he would take it to Congress. It was more “can you believe this?” gossip, with no intention that it would be made public. After all, if they wanted the information out there, they could have written their own complaints or leaked it to the media ages ago. As it is, it’s unclear (and even doubtful) that they did anything illegal by sharing what they knew with the author. I wonder if Trump focused on them instead of the whistleblower himself in what he said about “spies” because it’s already been drummed into him by his lawyers that he shouldn’t say anything threatening about the author of the complaint. He needed to vent, he couldn’t vent legally about his chief antagonist without making much more trouble for himself, so he decided to scapegoat the people who supplied the whistleblower with information rather than the person who went public with it.
John has a post coming up about the Times’s new story this afternoon reporting key details about the whistleblower’s identity. I don’t want to step on that so I won’t say anything about it here except to note that the paper is under fire for publishing it for an understandable reason. Chew on this:

It does seem like the incentives for whistleblowing are a bit perverse, because if you do it the proper, legal way, you become fairer game for journalists to identify you, whereas if you just leak the same stuff to journalists, we’ll generally conceal the source and protect you. https://twitter.com/ericschultz/status/1177292992106901504 …

This sounds eerily similar to the fake news that ABC reported that discussing the Biden probe was a precondition of the two leaders having the phone call.
Overall, the complaint centers around the July 25th phone call, and uses anonymous sources and media reports to substantiate the complaint.
President Trump reacted to the release on Twitter:

Quid Pro Quo and Cover-Up Allegations Against Trump are Falling Apart
Two new developments will probably have some Democrats wishing they'd waited for all the information to come out before jumping the gun on impeachment.
The first comes from an unnamed Ukrainian official who said that Kiev was not aware that the United States had suspended security funds before Trump's July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and didn't know they had been on hold until a month after the call. This, like the actual transcript, undermines the allegation that there was a quid pro quo, or as Adam Schiff described, a mob-like "shakedown." The whistleblower complaint alleged that officials in Kiev knew military aid was at stake, but the whistleblower admitted not knowing "how or when they learned of it."
As for the allegations that the communication between Trump and Zelensky was an unusual effort to illicitly conceal the conversation, Politico revealed that the White House had been placing transcripts on the codeword system in 2017 after transcripts started leaking to the media.
After 2017, when verbatim transcripts of his conversations with the leaders of Australian and Mexico were leaked to the press, the White House began to restrict the number of officials who had access to the transcripts. One former Trump administration official confirmed that the White House started placing transcripts into the codeword system after those leaks.

This is how I can go from thread to thread some times supporting Trump and other times bashing him. I don't care about the man, I care about the results. For example, most of the time I think his tweeting does more harm than good, but in this one specific topic I think these people need to be exposed and I think his tweets are the only way that's going to happen. And I'll ask about this one too - just how many middle of the road folks and undecided folks heard this BS and were naive enough to believe what Schiff was spewing? When you watch it, it almost looked like he was reading from the actual papers - and maybe something was written, but it was 100% completely made up. And folks will believe that shit.

That Was Quick! State Department Already Refutes Partisan Anti-Trump Whistleblower’s Report – Says Senior Counselor Brechbuhl Was Not on Ukrainian Call
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) joined Lou Dobbs on Thursday following the release of the partisan CIA whistleblower report.
Mark Meadows told Lou the foundation of the whistleblower’s complaint is already starting to fall apart.
Rep. Mark Meadows: Here’s what we do know. There’s reports out just minutes ago that on page three where the whistleblower said that he heard a counselor for the State Department was actually on the call, well the State Department says, no that didn’t happen. Well, we’re going to find out a whole more of what didn’t happen.
The partisan CIA whistleblower said in his report that State Department official Ulrich Brechbuhl was on the call with the Ukrainian president.
He wasn’t.

The Dems and the media have incredibly found new lows.
Its no longer enough for them to use anonymous sources. Now they're using anonymous sources that didn't witness anything... they're just quoting other even-more-anonymous sources.
There needs to be a term for this - anonymous times two? Anonymous squared?
BREAKING: Whistleblower Complaint Has Been Released and It's Another Nothingburger
...
According to the anonymous whistleblower, "I was not a direct witness to most of these events described," but instead based the complaint on "various facts" he or she was informed of by "more than half a dozen officials."

**We’re in the Midst of a Cold Civil War!!......There really is no whistleblower.
This is just a leaker who followed procedures that have been established to give whistleblowers protection.
The whole thing is a sham..... It’s nothing more than the Steele dossier 2.0....This is just the next phase of “Get Trump.”
>>>...This is the next phase of the operation to overturn the election results of 2016!!
**It’s the same players, it’s the same technique, it’s the same play. The whistle-blower report... it was probably prepared with the assistance of House Intelligence Committee staffers.....

`There’s no two clear sides of this. And certainly no shots have been fired. But nevertheless we’re in the midst of a Cold Civil War, and it encompasses a lot of things....
...It encompasses overturn the election results of 2016... it is about protecting and defending the deep state, the Washington establishment going forward.
Their careers, their fortunes, their corruption. There are terribly big stakes involved here for these people. And Trump is on the cusp of overturning it and exposing it. They cannot allow that to happen!

Due to much of the familiar sounding language, and usage of so many professional, legal sounding phrases. I compared the Whistleblower statement with several other...LIKELY FIGURES I have also read...using their own wording as well.
Though it may only be a coincidence, and I cannot prove what I have found is true, or accurate.
My best guess, after the Whistleblower said he/she contacted the STATE DEPARTMENT is...JOHN KERRY.
This is his Vietnam dossier, speech. Read carefully, and compare with other Kerry statements while Sec. State.

As you can probably tell. I have NEVER trusted Kerry, and when he decided to go ROGUE in visiting IRAN without permission, or telling the President. It seems fitting that he is the ONE.

Of Course, This Democratic Senator Is Changing The Story About His Meeting With Ukrainian President Zelensky
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) is now singing like a bird about his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. President Zelensky was reportedly the victim of a violent shakedown by President Trump, who threatened to withhold military aid unless he opened a corruption investigation into Hunter Biden, son of the former vice president. This all happened over a phone call in July. The allegations of quid pro quo went flying—all of this from an anonymous whistleblower complaint. The person is reportedly a CIA agent and he did not listen in on this conversation. It’s all second or third-hand accounts, which is why it’s loaded with errors. This was it for House Democrats. They couldn’t get Trump on collusion, so they’re trotting this out. It’s just as shoddy as the Russian collusion myth.
The Trump White House released the transcript of the call and it showed there was no quid pro quo. In fact, it’s one of the most vanilla things from this administration, but the House Democrats decided to get on the impeachment train before even reading the complaint that was declassified and released yesterday morning.
Murphy met with Zelensky in early September. Now, aid was withheld and Trump said he did it in the hopes of trying to get other nations to contribute more first, which isn’t out of character for this administration. They got European nations to contribute more to NATO, which has strengthened the alliance. Yet, the Democratic senator now says that Zelensky felt pressured by this White House to open a corruption probe against Hunter Biden. Well, The Washington Free Beacon got audio copy about that meeting and Murphy didn’t make any mention of the allegation that set off the impeachment circus on the Hill. That is until he decided to hold storytime after the whistleblower complaint was made public (via Free Beacon):
Senator Chris Murphy (D., Conn.), who traveled to Ukraine in early September, told reporters this week that he had heard "directly" from Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky that Zelensky felt pressured by Trump to investigate Hunter Biden's involvement with Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. But according to a tape of a briefing Murphy gave two weeks ago about his meeting with Zelensky, Murphy made no mention at all of such an allegation.
It was only 13 days after his initial briefing that Murphy emerged to say Zelensky had expressed concerns to him that the Trump administration was withholding U.S. aid to compel an investigation.
Murphy, who traveled to Ukraine and other European nations in early September with Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.), has given inconsistent characterizations of his Sept. 5 meeting with Zelensky over the past two weeks, as Trump's conversations with Zelensky have drawn national and international attention. If, as Murphy says, Zelensky expressed grave concern over the administration’s actions, the Connecticut senator appears to have kept mum about it for over two weeks.
Murphy initially told news reporters in a Sept. 11 briefing that the Ukrainian president was "flummoxed" by the administration’s suspension of aid and wanted to reach a resolution to keep it flowing. Neither Zelensky nor any other official he spoke with brought up political requests from the Trump administration, he said, adding that they "didn't talk in depth" about the issue.
[…]
The senator said Monday that the "entire new Ukrainian administration" including Zelensky told him they believed the United States withheld aid due to his "unwillingness to investigate the Bidens."
"Once I got on the ground there, I heard about how confused the entire new Ukrainian administration was about the nature of these demands they were getting from the Trump administration to conduct this political investigation, and that they worry that the aid that was being cut off to Ukraine by the president was a consequence for their unwillingness, at the time, to investigate the Bidens," Murphy said, adding that the concern was relayed to him "from the president directly."
Murphy did not, however, relay any of this information to reporters in the Sept. 11 briefing, where he stressed the limited nature of his conversation with Zelensky on the issue.
Contrary to his claim Monday that Zelensky felt the administration was withholding U.S. aid because of his unwillingness to investigate Hunter Biden, Murphy said Sept. 11 that Zelensky said he "didn't have a clear sense of why aid was being withheld."

If The Case For Trump’s Impeachment Is So Strong, Why Are Liberals Lying About It?
Lying takes a lot of effort, telling the truth is easy. When you start lying you have to remember which lie you told which person, and as the truth begins to creep out, as it always does, you find yourself scrambling to twist it to fit back into your lie. Democrats, both in Congress and the media, are finding this out the hard way this week with their latest “Trump is corrupt and must be impeached” lie.
Most people learn that honesty is the best policy when they’re kids, but politicians and journalists are now overgrown, overpaid kids. There are maybe a handful of honest, mature people currently working in politics, but none have seen the business end of a TV camera since the 90s.
Almost everything about the allegations that have Democrats moving toward impeachment of the President is a lie, a proven lie. And they don’t care.
The call with Ukrainian President Zelensky did take place, so that part is true. From there, the lies begin.
“There was a quid pro quo” they said. The President threatened to withhold aid money from Ukraine unless Zelensky investigated Joe and Hunter Biden, we were told. The transcript showed that did not happen.
That fact did not stop any Democrat from saying it did. It did not stop anchors at CNN and MSNBC from saying it did.
On MSNBC, Katy Tur summarized the transcript this way: “Will you do me a favor and investigate Vice President Biden’s son? Will you do me a favor and get involved in the 2020 election? Vice President Biden is my chief political opponent.”
On CNN, Brianna Keillor said President Trump told Zelensky, “’I would like you to do us a favor…’ the President asks Zelensky to dig up dirt on Biden and his son, Hunter.”
The only problem is the President said nothing of the sort. The President was asking for Zelensky’s help investigating attempts by the previous Ukraine government’s meddling in the 2016 election. Read the transcript for yourself. To get to any mention of Biden you have to skip 540 words, fully three quarters the length of an op-ed. But CNN and MSNBC simply erased those words and created their own version of the conversation.
There was a time when the media reported on Ukraine’s attempt to influence our election made news. In January of 2017, Politico ran a story with the headline, “Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire.”
In that story, by the way, Politico reports, “Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.” (Emphasis added.)

I really don't like President Trump and most of those around him. I am concerned with his using Guiliani and perhaps also Digenova and Toesing. When it comes to foreign affairs, including investigations, he has White House lawyers and the State Department. He is the President OF THE UNITED STATES, not acting as a private individual.
With all that said, what is going on by the Democrats, from Pelosi changing the rules to leave out the minority members in a vote and having a say, to this more and more appearing as nothing more than an attempt to somehow install a Democrat in office in 2020, since they cannot win in a normal manner. It is for all intent and purposes, a coup.

And the longer they do this and the longer they keep it up - the better it is for Trump and those in congress and midterms and pretty much everywhere! Trump can be an ass, undoubtedly. He's not PC and doesn't do things conventionally, and is rarely a sweetheart. His ways turn a lot of folks off. But he gets crap done at least.
But yes, like him or not, he is the president. And running against his agendas is one thing - trying to undermine the president and trying to ruin the president, with a lot of lies and made up investigations is entirely another thing. SO SO SO much proof has come out to show that, SO many times the left has been busted OUTRIGHT LYING. So it's a little more than obvious what they are doing and what their intentions are. That doesn't make Trump a nice guy, nor should it mean folks on the right that don't care much for him should suddenly like him. - But - I do think most folks are at least seeing what the left is doing and what their intention is - no matter their feelings about Trump. Hell, even some shitty media on the left is starting to report on some of their BS and shenanigans.

Indeed, the accusation of 'if you vote against Trump, you are liberal or voted for liberal,' is a fallacy at least for me. As I've said, I'm more conservative or as Gunny would say, 'a traditional liberal' than many here.

Invite foreign powers to interfere with elections twice and you’re gonna get impeached. This is trumps making, no conspiracy. He is no king.

Yep, I called this like a year ago right on this board. Democrats have set Trump up , if he investigates THEIR actual crimes, they will accuse him of abusing his authority, as they abuse theirs.
Pete, I REALLY wish I simply believed you were stupid and didn't see what is going on here. Sadly though , one can only surmise that you know EXACTLY what is going on here and are simply dishonest.
BTW Pete, as for the "whistle blower" and the law requiring complaints be turned over to Congress. The actual facts are that the President is not part of the intelligence community and thus the IG has zero authority over him and so was obviously not authorized to turn over shit.
I mean we all know the law and facts don't matter to you, but there they are anyway.

I've had the same levied against me on here and other boards because I refuse to play the "you must support everything your party does" mantra, however I must say that I am less and less inclined to call out Trump when he does do something stupid every day because I'm sick of the hypocrisy. How many Democrats you see calling out the behavior of Democrats in Congress and or running for President right now? Very few.
I'm tired of feeling obligated to join in on "orange man bad" every time he tweets something stupid, and I've made more feelings abundantly clear, if he broke the law charge him, right after you charge Democrats who have broken the law.

There is no equivalency between anything Trump has said with what Democrats have done since he took office Kath. I think you know that.
Trump tweets and says mean and or dumb things. Democrats do illegal things.
Let me ask you a real question. How much of the dirty things Democrats have been doing the last 3 years would we not even know about if Trump weren't an asshole who fought back?
For example, there blatant lies to try to keep Kavanaugh of the SCOTUS, we wouldn't even have known if Trump would have quietly withdrawn the nomination as usually happens .
Hell, for that matter, Trump wouldn't have even been elected in the first place had he not been loud and some would say an asshole in the face of outright hatred from the left, and if that had happened we'd have a real criminal named Hillary Clinton in the White House right now.
Given my druthers I'd kick Trump out of office and shoot every single Democrat in Congress who has allowed this travesty to happen. However, that isn't a realistic choice, so I must stick with the realistic, reelect an asshole or allow the criminals to gain full power by virtue of being willing to break the god damned law and destroy people to get that power. No thanks.

Just some truth being injected into the story, about the future of this investigation & for the current reality. And the way the reporting requirement seemingly was changed just prior to all of this... it makes all of DC stink of political BS right now.

Ranking Judiciary Member Collins: Dems 'Rushing to Judgment Because They Know Time Is Running Out'
(CNSNews.com) - "Is the president in jeopardy of being removed from office?" Fox News's Maria Bartiromo, host of "Sunday Morning Futures," asked Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) yesterday:
"No, he's not in jeopardy of being removed from office," Collins, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee responded. "He's in jeopardy of having to continue the onslaught of lies and attacks and half-truths from a one-sided investigation in the House."
Collins suggested that Democrats are in jeopardy of losing the election:
"They're rushing to judgment, Maria. Keep this clearly in mind. They're rushing to judgment because they know time is running out. And they're desperate for this president not to win next year...This is the derangement syndrome in the House right now."
Collins noted that the House Judiciary Committee has held a number of hearings on various allegations against Trump but they all "completely fall apart under investigation."
"The collusion was a false narrative, the conspiracies. All these things were false when you actually investigate. So now they have decided, let's throw that out the window, because that's not working for us. Fairness is not working. Being on the right side of the American people is not all right. So we're just going to ramrod it through. That's what's happening right now."
The whistleblower admitted in his complaint that he does not have first-hand knowledge of Trump's phone call. He/she knows only what others in the White House told him/her. But until recently, Collins noted, a whistleblower complaint had to stem from first-hand knowledge.
"Well, that's what's really been interesting here in the last little bit, because we have been finding out that the whistle-blower rules, especially in the intelligence community, seem to have been changed," Collins continued:
And they have been changed from requiring and demanding a firsthand account or an actual knowledge, firsthand knowledge of the abuse or the misuse of issues in the intelligence community, to now where they can have secondhand information.
If you look at the whistle-blower report, even besides the transcript and everything else, comparing the two is really interesting, because it seems to be a very well-written document, multi-sourced. If this was a piece for The New York Times or The Washington Post, that's not -- be what you expect.
But you don't expect this and what comes in the form as a legal document, accusing the president of doing something in a legal fashion and doing so from secondhand information.
Now, as we go forward here, is that going to be the standard that has been changed now in the intelligence community, where basically anybody there can take any report that they want to over the watercooler, wherever, and decide to file a complaint?
This is more serious than this. This president and our country deserves better than what we're seeing right here.

Your truth and facts may not be what I consider truth and facts. Usually I ignore when anyone presents opinions as truth or fact. I'm not so comfortable when they speak to what I 'know, think, or feel.' If you couch it in, "I think you may feel..." I will deal with or not.

Anyway, back on topic. notice that Petey can't come back and say "you're right, I now see that the IG didn't have the legal authority to turn that complaint over to Congress? Just as with every other matter he is factually wrong about, but can't just say "okay I was wrong?"

President Trump Demands to Know Who Changed Whistleblower Rules Shortly Before CIA Spy Filed Complaint
President Trump on Monday morning demanded to know who at the ODNI [Office of Director of National Intelligence] changed the whistleblower rules shortly before the Deep State CIA spy filed a complaint using second-hand information.
“WHO CHANGED THE LONG STANDING WHISTLEBLOWER RULES JUST BEFORE SUBMITTAL OF THE FAKE WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT? DRAIN THE SWAMP!” Trump tweeted in all caps Monday morning.
The whistleblower form was changed within the last year shortly before the CIA officer filed a complaint against President Trump in August using second-hand gossip and fake news media reports as his ‘sources.’
The Deep State Intelligence Community secretly gutted the whistleblower form and now allows the complaint to be filed with second-hand knowledge — previously, whistleblowers were required to be eyewitnesses or to have first-hand, direct knowledge of alleged misconduct.
Rumors are swirling that the Deep State whistleblower is a John Brennan protégé who was planted inside of the White House to spy on President Trump and thwart the Spygate investigation.
Former CIA Director John Brennan on Saturday called on an unlimited number of spies embedded in the Deep State to use the new whistleblower form to report President Trump following a hit from an anonymous CIA officer who snitched on Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
And Brennan had a very close ally at the ODNI…
John Brennan’s ally at the ODNI Sue Gordon resigned (was forced out by Trump) on August 8th and the date of the whistleblower complaint is August 12th — perhaps Trump should look at Sue Gordon as the person who altered the whistleblower rules.

Because someone disagree's with PROVEN, DOCUMENTED, VERIFIED FACTS...does not make them wrong, whether you agree or not. You can ignore the TRUTH, and FACTS as much as you like. BUT...You cannot CHANGE the TRUTHFUL FACTS. No matter how much you disagree, and tell someone else THEY ARE WRONG...because YOU SAID SO.
When someone says "What I consider to be Truth, and Facts", when the opposite is proven, double-checked, verified, and documented by an honorable, truthful source. IT DOESN'T MATTER that you, or anyone else doesn't consider it Truth.
That idea, or statement...in a nutshell, is you, or someone else projecting a sense of your own censorship, because the TRUTHFUL FACTS...don't please, or match what only YOU determine it to be. Better known as POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. ie: either you do as I say, or else.
BUT...I should remember. According to some people who claim to be more intelligent, or informed than I. How dare I suggest they might be slightly, or even more Wrong. That's called offering an Opinion....better known as a THOUGHT....because I dared to THINK it.
