The interpreters certainly need to be vetted, but they did their jobs and are now in danger. This has been going on for years. Same with those allowed to serve in the military, with promise of citizenship at the end of serving-often not honored.

This is a DIRECT result of Congress REFUSING to take action in regards to illegal immigration in this country. Our system is overloaded and those sneaked into country are given the same access to our legal system and wait in the same lines as those who are trying to get here legally.


It's beyond ridiculous that an MS13 scumbag gets the same rights to determine whether he can enter this country as someone who helped our military against their own country at great personal risk.

We need to do better for every kurd that did our dirty work in Iraq and Syria as well. Saw a snippet somewhere yesterday or today that there is supposed to be a deal in the works for the kurds to get a place in NE Iraq. Not that I'd call that deal, but it's better than what they have.

I thought at first this about those that join the military with the promise of citizenship upon completion of service. Last I knew, that was still being honored and is in fact a legal, binding contract with the US Government. We know what THAT's worth (couldn't resist the crack :).
