Quite a discussion some of us were having on education and anti-male biases in the schools, would be a place to start.

Pretty hard to get illegal guns out of the hands of gangbangers. There really are not that many legal guns in the city-laws are that tight.

Get rid of the democrats that run Chicago and the state and you could fix it.

It's much the same in all big cities, all run by democrats. They're either filthy toilets with feces, needles and homeless tent camps everywhere, or a killing field like Chicago, or some mix of both.

These hell hole cities are democrat utopias, and if they had their way, the entire nation would be just like San Franqueerco or Chicago.

There really are not that many legal guns in the city-laws are that tight.I don't know about the city of Chicago itself, but I can tell you what the State of IL does to circumvent the 2nd. They got shot down on one of their laws in the past dealing with firearm registration. Illinois' answer? Register the owner. You cannot possess nor purchase a firearm nor ammunition in the State of IL with a Firearm Owner ID (FOID) card.

If you have firearms if the police so much as come out to ask you questions the first one is "Do you have any firearms?" which they promptly confiscate until they are done.

Truth is, minus all the smoke from the left, it is FAR easier in this country to possess an illegal firearm than it is for Joe Average the citizen to. No fuss, no red tape. You get busted? Just get another. There's no form nor background check to worry about.
