Second season. Love this series with Kevin Costner on Paramount channel.

Tonight's episode, S2E7, "Resurrection Day", was horrifyingly satisfying. Kelly Riley as Beth should win award. My stomach muscles still hurt from holding my breath and my heart hurts just a little bit. For me to get so physically caught up in a scene that was totally unexpected is a tribute to excellent acting. Totally an emotion overload.

Judgement Day is on the way.

Abbey ... this episode satisfied my vengeance tendencies. I was totally there.....

I liked the very last scene when Kayce asks the old man... "what are we going to do about the Beck brothers?" ... answer... "we're going to kill 'em, son."

I was beginning to think Season II was a little slower and more boring than the first, but apparently that opinion isn't shared with most people. I still DVR the show and wouldn't miss it.

I didn't think he would need to tell her so soon.

Only 3 episodes left for season 2. I hate these short seasons .. 10 episodes and then waiting a year for next season.

Yeah I hope they don't kill off the Rip Wheeler character.

And I couldn't agree more about what they call a "season." It's pathetic. All I want to see is the Beck brothers get their's, and that arrogant damn Indian get his too. Seems all this "season" it's been John Dutton getting beat down, so I expect they're building up to a big finish where he gets in some pay back.

Originally has something to do with death of their mother. Now, betrayal of John I think.

I need to watch season 1 again .... that's why I hate waiting whole year for new season.

Only 2 episodes left. Best way to watch it is DVR, and FF through the dumb commercials. I'm not hot on the story line with the kid either. It's an adult show, why they wrote a little kiddie into it is beyond me, and I think they're going to kill the kid off.

Or, if Becks kill kid Monica becomes another Beth for the ranch.

So many possibilities.

Costner said doing a series is harder than movies. Have to stay in character longer.

I don't like that gravely voice he does. Clint Eastwood has done it in a couple movies he's made too, most notably, Heartbreak Ridge.

I'd like to see Beth and Jamie come to some sort of peace too. I think the way she hates him is a kind of over the top weird. I think Beth's character is actually a little over the top. I don't know anyone even remotely like her. Usually living with that kind of pent up hate eats a person up. I wish they'd slow her character down just a notch.

She is a good actress. She makes you believe her. I do like to see her softer side though. I know she blames Jamie for Rip getting shot.

It'll be interesting to see who gets offed though, either the kid or his mother. It'll probably be the cliff hanger for next season. But they keep showing the kid when they come to that, "take what they love."

Seems like we're the only ones interested in this show too... :rolleyes:

Yeah I didn't want to read your post until I watched the finale... ;)

Just finished watching it, seems as though everything ended well, and yeah, I like Rip. He's one of my favorite characters, and I want him and Beth to hook up... :thumb:

2020 is quite awhile to wait for the new "season," and then have that only be 10 or so episodes again.

They are filming S3 E5 right now. Heard Josh Holloway will be in next season.
