Kim Jong Un and North Korea tested 3 short range missiles over the last number of days. These missiles tests are not a violation of our signed Singapore agreement, nor was there discussion of short range missiles when we shook hands. There may be a United Nations violation, but..

IDK... I think Trump is a great president. I don't worship him, and I think sometimes he's a little braggadocios, but holy cow, the guy does have plenty to brag about.

And there's not another person on the planet I'd vote for in 2020 over him for president. I'd love to be able to filter out ALL the coming campaign adds, by the thousands I'm sure, because my mind is already made up. It curls my toe nails to think what kind of FUCKING UP a DEMOCRAT would do to America if one of them actually gets elected. Right back to everything going down the TOILET like obama, only on STEROIDS.

Pretty much. I mean it's a lot. Probably more than I'm actually even aware of. I think the only thing he's done that did piss me off was sign that first huge spending bill, and then he's signed another one raising the debt limit, so evidently he has no problem spending like a drunken sailor right along with everyone else in Washington, and that doesn't set all that well with me.

Although I do believe, at this point, there's no possible way the national debt can be paid off, none, it's not even possible. We'd cripple our economy and the entire nation would be in a shambles if we even tried. But then there's the ever increasing interest on that debt. I mean, it's a time bomb. That worries me, and Trump not apparently giving a crap about it is an issue.

Did you know that if you buy a certain amount of GOLD now, it has to be reported to the GOVERNMENT?

Yep, and Afghanistan will be pacified, once and agreement between the official Afghan government and the Taliban comes to fruition. Happy days! :rolleyes:

At least you see more than just the tweets. OTOH, I've tried to be honest about the things he's done right, imo. Judicial appointments. Focus on immigration and borders-I don't agree with his policies on 'merit' or 'walls' in a grand way, but his instincts on both are right-the overhaul is necessary. Domestic economy to this point has been great. I fear what may come from his foreign affairs choices, including tweets and bombast, but again, he's what he projected himself to be and won.

On immigration, at this point, after decades of having this nation flooded with less than the cream of the crop, as an under statement, of people, I agree Trump that we should have a merit based immigration. If it were me, I'd say close immigration down completely for a decade.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I guess I just get weirded out when folks sound like they've become automatons. I'm not trying to be harsh, but there's no way anyone is 100% in line with anyone else. :laugh2:

I'm not getting into many replies. Too much heat over a lame discussion of helping a citizen being held "illegally" by Sweden's own terms.

I don't care about the why and why not anymore.

I don't see all tweets made as having the same goal/subject/context. If Trump did do that, which I'm still on my phone, then my bad. But if he made a tweet about the Sweden issue, and another pertaining to NK, I don't see the relation. Not saying much about my opinion on any of the above subjects, just that I don't see the connection.

But as far as Rocky, he should have left him there to rot, not concern himself with Americans detained illegally. He also shouldn't discuss NK until such time that he either fixes the issue, or retracts any and all statements in the positive, prior to ever meeting Kim. And of course, while condemning what he says not being bad enough at times, he should delete it altogether, or at the least only one subject per day.

My point in reality being so so many things I've posted and written over the past 2 years, and either folks are always using that large brush which includes every supporter, or it IS about every supporter or perhaps others simply aren't being quoted. It's difficult for someone to read something in general about 'Trump supporters', and if insulting, not feel insulted. And EVEN THEN I couldn't care less, large brush, small or whatever, that's why we're here, keep one another on their toes. But sometimes misquotes come out of nowhere, of which Rev was famous for - which is quoting you without "actually quoting a post" and then tossing out crap. Or a lot like to do the "So what you're saying is..." and then add in something that was never said. Or asking about things or making statements, that don't fully jive with everything I have posted in 2 years.

Not to you Kath, but the little sarcasm above admittedly - the rest is 100% in general and why the 2 a$ap rocky threads I'm bowing out of. But if anyone were to search his name on Youtube or earlier posts from me , I had posted some of the videos showing the harasser in action, the harasser smashing his own headphones across the bodyguard's head, and the bodyguard choking the guy. Neither those 2 charged though. Charging them doesn't change much for Rocky, but NOT charging them with so much video proof out there, and only charging the celebrity, just makes me wonder. I think they were all wrong, but if anyone did the least, and the one who tried to prevent issues the entire time, was the celebrity. Just didn't all add up if you ask me. But I ain't in Sweden and I'm not the prosecutor, and there may be even more video, but I don't see any more necessary.

Other than the swampiness of the whole rapper thing, I really could not care less. However, rather than just reading the bits I had, went looking for something that told more than what I'd read. Here:

I know you hate the tweets, I am curious how you can not see a problem with the Korea tweets. Last I knew, S. Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, are all our allies and within the range of those missiles which I guess we don't care about any more?

Yes, I know, it's been pointed out a bunch of times that the only issues he has is some tweets he has made. I'll bore you with digging up the other 50 or so issues that I was less than impressed or agitated about coming from him, or outright thought he was wrong about. At times I think the twitter causes so many of his issues.

But yeah, I myself must have forgotten to care about any of those other subjects in the slightest. More like I just don't care anymore. <----- but odd how that sounds eeeeeeeeerily like someone tossing words in my mouth. "I guess WE don't care about anymore"

At any rate - I NEVER SAID THAT. I never said I didn't care about other issues, nor that any of his posts on NK may be of eyebrow raising and of concern. I said I didn't see the relation. I honestly don't know - but did he post about Rocky coming home and then "oh yeah" and "NK is not a problem" all in one tweet as if they were related? That's all I said, is that I didn't see the relation/connection, but can't see the full tweets you copied as I was on my phone.
