UPDATED 8:52 AM PT — Friday, July 26, 2019Former Democrat Virginia Governor Doug Wilder is defending himself against claims he kissed a 20 year-old student without her consent. Sydney Black, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), filed a complaint in late 2018 alleging Wilder took her back to his condo after he bought her dinner, where Wilder is accused of touching her leg and kissing her.
Black alleges Wilder promised her admission into Howard University Law School, promised to pay her tuition, and offered rent-free living at his condo. He was investigated by VCU officials of which he was cleared of all except the non-consensual kiss.
Shortly before the investigation was complete, Wilder was offered a six-figure contract extension from the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at VCU — the department at the school named after him.
Wilder maintains “no responsibility” for the kiss, claiming the investigation was biased against him in blog posts on his website. VCU claims they will review his recent statements regarding the investigation before coming to a final decision.

Wasn't he accused of something while he was in office? This is what gets me ... IF I was to believe this story, which sounds as hinky as a like accusation against Trump, are these politicians given ample opportunity to die of old age before anything happens to them for wrongdoing?
