I thought I posted on this last week, I was mistaken. It was found guilty of malicious defamation. Partially because staff involved with social justice warrior students, even being quoted as 'unleashing them.'
Today the $11M judgement was hit with another $22M in punitive damages!
That seems to be a strong message to universities throughout the country.

Universities will simply raise tuition costs and continue doing what they are doing now.

Guess what university has a new (old) problem that could cost them big time?
Update since OP:
Appeals
On October 8, 2019, the college filed a Notice of Appeal appealing the case to the Ninth District Court of Appeals in Akron, Ohio.[21] Days later, Gibson's Bakery filed their own Notice of Appeal asking for review of Ohio's statutory caps on monetary damages, rulings made by Judge Miraldi on motions, and the exclusion of expert witness testimony in the trial.[22] Oberlin College filed their principal appeals brief June 5, 2020.[23]
