This is true, so true. So many folks are only going to hear "free free free". NOTHING is free in this world.
I truly believe that the more who fully understand what socialism is, and what a few on the left are talking about - is suicide for America.

Trump's Most Daunting Task: Educating on Socialism
Amidst the welter of good and bad news we are assaulted with every day, by far the most dangerous long-term are the new polls showing America's youth tilting significantly toward socialism.
Not surprisingly, these same young people haven't the slightest idea of what socialism really is, its history or what it entails, which is suicidal for them more than anyone else. They are the ones who will suffer most if the USA turns into Venezuela.
Because of a sclerotic leftwing education system, our youth have been indoctrinated in a simple-minded version of socialism for decades without knowing it. Meanwhile, the right has been extraordinarily lazy in confronting this, acting in a basically uneducated manner themselves. It 's almost criminal.
Ask your average college student who is history's greatest mass murderer and almost none of them would name Mao. They have no idea what the Great Leap Forward was when some thirty million Chinese were starved to death by the Chairman in the name of socialism or why that might have happened. One could go on with the history of megadeath from Stalin to Hitler to Pol Pot (who?) -- all socialists -- and get plenty of blank stares.
Basically, our youth has suffered from a form of child abuse by their teachers and the media. They have been told, implicitly and explicitly, from earliest childhood that socialism is the preferable system because of "fairness."

I am not in support of pure socialism, but we already are a hybrid (not one of you better be on medicare or take more in SS than you put in). No word on the Scandinavian countries? Why? Maybe because they are actually well run societies without dictators?

$36 - $94 TRILLION dollars
Redo EVERY building
Get rid of airplanes
Trains to europe
All that other garbage. It's just a crappy outline of even crappier ideas - and literally UNachievable. Well, not in our time. Would likely take like 200 years to replace every building. You are NOT going to get rid of airplanes.
Some things changing? Yeah. Her ideas are FAR FAR FAR from the way to go or get started though! LOL

I assume this is in the Green Deal? Why the obsession over this. No one is taking it seriously, just like Trump's budget. It's a fantasy wish list to start the conversation.

Fantasy that some on that side are embracing. I personally think it has zero chance, and most is pointing out the way many on the Dem party are trying to steer things...
But in the remote chance this even has a chance in hell - folks should be aware.
Wanting to change voting age to 16, allowing illegals to vote - BOOM right there those groups would likely vote with them. Tell college age over and over and over that they will get free college - and BOOM you may get votes.
Yes, that shit is downright scary as hell to me!

Why do you latch on to proposals that will never pass? If you don't want dems to take your crazy radical party members seriously, then don't bait and take ours.

I've seen MANY a fucked up things get passed over my years, things I didn't think had a chance in hell.
YOUR side, thankfully outside of some leaders, are embracing AOC as the future of the party, this shit deal aside.
And I didn't latch onto it, I'm pointing out that others should NOT ever latch onto it.
Many folks in the Dem party have embraced her like a rock star, and I pointed out tons of her lunacy already. And yet they still embrace that star. The liberal media does the same, when of course they only cover garbage and negative Trump news, and more or less ignore anything that could be taken as positive.
Then you have folks like Sanders and the other freshman embracing her new deal, and her cosigner (I honestly don't remember his name), and YES, there are folks either supporting her and this deal, or having their own socialist agendas. Bernie is just as bad as her. Well, probably a few trillion better.

Morning Joe Warns of ‘Democratic Party in Crisis’ Over Socialism
Reacting to former Colorado Governor and 2020 presidential candidate John Hickenlooper repeatedly refusing to call himself a “capitalist” during an interview minutes earlier Friday morning, the cast of MSNBC’s Morning Joe expressed their shock and dismay at the “crisis in the Democratic Party” as far-left candidates preach socialism.
“I just got a text from one of the smartest people I know in politics who said, ‘Oh, my God, the Democratic Party’s in crisis,’" Scarborough revealed. “They’ve gotten to a point where an American success story can’t even say he’s a capitalist,” he lamented. Co-host Willie Geist agreed: “Yeah, that was extraordinary....Governor Hickenlooper, who has done very well in life....has benefitted from capitalism, he couldn’t say that he was a capitalist because he was worried about that label.”
Referring to Hickenlooper’s background as a small business owner before his political career, Geist observed: “...people who are capitalists by definition, by the virtue of the success they’ve had in their lives, afraid to use the word. It’s incredible.”

That is what you liberal/dem/socialist types always say- Nobody is taking XY and Z seriously.
And that is how and why we have a damn totally destroyed public education system , a perverted totally corrupted mainstream media that allies with the socialist dem party, and hundreds of laws/regulations that unconstitutionally limit our freedoms!
In short, you SOB are faithful liars, and devious pieces of hit, IMHO.
As you people are taught that deception is an art to always use--same as your busom buddies , your traitorous dem party's muslim allies..--Tyr
