This is ALL about politics - as the Democrats have been there before, and of course supported before. But now the big bad man Trump is in charge, and of course they must now oppose. :rolleyes:
Before it was Aok for a wall. Aok for major fencing - and not for 300 miles - but for 700 miles back then.
Add in checkpoints.
Add in major amounts of lighting.
Add in vehicle barriers here and there.
How about some satellites that they wanted and approved?
And even best of all - how about we also go with some drones to cover that amount of land.

But NOW, just a static and tall wall is too much to ask for - and we ALL know WHY.
They will downplay what THEY wanted since the 90's and throughout the mid 2000's. They will approve more than this at time without even looking, as they can have time to read bills after they are approved. :rolleyes:
They will downplay the past and lie, and then talk of just how bad of an idea it is that Trump has.
