An interesting op-ed. Worth a listen IMO. Hard to argue with this guy's points.

Douglas Murray -- an excellent author and commentator. I've watched him, from time to time, on the BBC's flagship current affairs discussion programme, 'Question Time'.

I like Charles Murray - you’re guaranteed to get a good debate out of him, whether or not his ends or means are to your taste.

These videos from Prager University (that isn’t actually a university but chose to use that name for reasons unknown) are always well edited and presented, but they often lack any real depth (probably for the sake of a concise video) which really lets them down.

For example - Murray says quite clearly that in 2017 the most popular boys name in the U.K. was muhammed. It is presented with a nice graphic, and seems extraordinary. It is also presented with no source. Following up on that by looking at the figures from the Office of National Statistics show that muhammed was not the most popular name in 2017. Oliver was. Then Harry. Then George. The Noah...Muhammed actually came 10th on the list.

We're both from the UK. We both know the coverage the TRUTH of the popularity of 'Mohammed' as a preferred boy's name has had.

Mohammed is the most popular name for boys in England and Wales- but it doesn't top the official list because there are so many different ways to spell it.

There were 7,361 children born last year called Mohammed, Muhammed, Mohammad or Mohamed, according to the Office for National Statistics, which would have made it the number one boys name if the variations were taken into account.

That fact of the matter is, much of Europe has been decimated by the mass influx of MUSLIM refugees, or better stated, MUSLIM TRASH. They do NOT ASSIMILATE to their host nation. They wait until they have sufficient numbers and then start with their sharia bull shit. Muslims have been doing the same thing for CENTURIES. The only difference now is they're being HELPED by the MINDLESS leftists who apparently have no problem with the TROUBLES the muslims bring, and losing their nations identity, character, customs and freedom.

What's worse is the E.U. OUTLAWING any verbal dissent. That just smacks of NAZI GERMANY.

So are you adding variations of other names together too? Ollie and Oliver combined are more popular than your 4 combinations of spelling for mohammed.

Nope (.. nice try ! ..).

I'm including variations in spelling of the SAME name.

Are you suggesting that if a name is spelled a little differently, this requires everyone to regard it differently ? The significance of the frequency of the name 'Mohammed' must be regarded entirely differently to 'Muhammad', for example ?

If you need this to be the case, Noir (& here, I'm stating the obvious), then I'd say you're knowingly on very shaky ground !

If you don’t consider Ollie and Oliver to be variations of the same name, fair enough, I do though.

There’s also a lot being glossed over regarding cultural and social backgrounds of given names but I’m guessing you don’t much care for that either.

But I do .. Ollie and Oliver are variations of the SAME name, just as Mohammed and Muhammad are.

Are you getting confused ?

So tell me. What is there to 'gloss over', where the cultural and social significance of 'Mohammed' (& other assorted spellings) is concerned ?

If I chose to change my name from (for example) 'Fred' to 'Mohammed', are you saying that no social or cultural inference could be drawn from that ?

No, I’m saying the opposite.

Good.

You understand, then ... and approve of, yes ? ... the significance of how prevalent the choice of 'Mohammed' (& variations) is ?

You have a birth ward with 10 pregnant women.
7 non-Muslim, 3 Muslim.

When the babies are named the 7 non-muslims choose David, James, Micheal, Peter, Paul, Andrew, and Luke. The 3 muslim families chose Mohammed, Muhammed, and Aashif.

What can you extrapolate from the above information?

... Depends. IF this represents a representation of the average population breakdown, what you're suggesting is a 30 percent representation in the population of Muslims.

That's one hell of an increase !!

Nationally, Muslims are 5 percent of the population. In London (& maybe in our larger cities) it's double that. Where would that birth ward be ?

Either way ... such an increase (triple, or sixfold !!) suggests a creeping takeover of our society ! So I extrapolate:

1. We need total control over our borders IMMEDIATELY.

2. The measure above, on the face of it, may be too late (though it has to be done, regardless). Therefore, I infer that the authorities must concentrate on investigating, en masse. Checking on ... who's illegal, and so, easily and lawfully deportable ??

If it's not a life what difference does it make? How is it worse to do that than to abort babies because the guy leaves?

All abortion is wrong. I was merely exposing a gaping hole in his logic.

No, I’m saying the opposite. What you are doing is circle jerking yourself and the topic in an attempt to avoid addressing the elephant in the room. Socialism has turned Europe into one big bucket of mediocrity.

Don't feel bad though, Noir. It has failed everywhere else its been tried. You might no be able to be first, but you CAN be next ...

Be hilarious if France is first country to abandon it.
