Ramen Noodles are probably one of the best foods to ever have been thought up by man.
And they cost about 20 cents for one package!

KATUSAs love Ramen. :) They'd bring out propane-cookers, to he Field, and cook up their bizness.

I used to eat them all the time when I was young and poor.
Wouldn't touch the stuff now, the calories are a killer.
Ramen tastes like shit.
Thats for when you are in college and have about 5.00 to your name, after college you don't ever eat that shit, might as well eat spam too.

Several years ago someone in Japan conducted a poll that asked people (in Japan) what they thought was the most important invention of the 20th century. The most popular answer was "instant noodles."
(The second most popular answer was "karaoke.")

As for me, I like just about any kind of Asian food. I could eat it every day and sometimes I practically do.

Agreed, along with some left-over shredded chicken or pork, or an egg and some minced onion.
I don't eat it often, but every once in a while I get that craving....

I love Raman noodles. I have a bunch stored up for the winter.
btw... the inventor of Raman noodles died earlier this year
Momofuku Ando, the founder-chairman of Nissin Food Products Co, who was widely known as the inventor of instant noodles, has died of heart failure at a hospital in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, his family said. He was 96.....

ran across a different use for ramen noodles at a potluck picnic last week....somebody had brought a salad with some chicken and oranges and an asian dressing, and they had crumbled dry ramen noodles into it instead of nuts.....the salad dressing had softened them a little bit, but mostly they were crunchy.....it was pretty good......

You're getting ripped off. I get them for about 8¢ a packet when I buy them at Costco, 10¢ from the local market. I have a few recipes I do with them that my daughters love.
