Dang, even at 89 years old, a hit was put out on the old timer and dead he is now! No doubt, between a transfer and all, wouldn't surprise me if there was some help from the officials themselves. Even if that only means times/dates.

It emerged in Bulger's 2013 trial that he had served as an FBI informant as far back as 1975, though he always denied the claim.
