Top US Economist Confirms Obama Did Have an Effect on This Economy: “It’s the Effect that Barack Obama is No Longer President of the United States!”
Top US economist Steve Moore, who worked for candidate Trump and now assists with economic solutions for the Trump White House, was at the Gateway Eagle Counsel this year. In his talk he admitted that there is an Obama effect in regards to the economy. The effect is Obama is no longer President!
Moore shared some short stories about the election and working with the likes of Sam Clovis and Larry Kudlow. Then Moore discussed the ‘Obama Effect’ on the economy –
It’s very simple. This stuff [the booming economy] that Rose [Tennent from Rose Unplugged] was talking about, it didn’t happen by accident. It didn’t happen by accident.
I was on, the second CNN story I was going to tell you is that on Tuesday morning I was on CNN with some, with Robert Reich [former Clinton Secretary of Labor]. You know, you all know Robert Reich. He’s just hopeless. He just doesn’t have a straight table in a bright light locked position on any of this stuff.
And so, he’s going on and on about, you know about this stuff, and then the host, this Poppy Harlow says, “Steve do you think that there’s an Obama Effect here?”
From this strong, because by the way, it’s very interesting. Starting on Monday for the first time in a year and a half, even CNN is acknowledging that we are in a boom. Even they, it’s undeniable, right?
So even they are acknowledging a boom but now they have to explain why it is, the same people who said that Donald Trump was going to cause the second Great Depression if he was elected, has created the strongest economy, as Rose said, in 40 years and they don’t have a very good explanation for that. So their clawback position is what Barack Obama said on Friday, which is that this is my economy, its not Trump’s. And by the way, Obama is the first one who said that Trump was going to crash the economy.
So Poppy says to me, “Steve, do you think there is an Obama effect here?”
And I said, “Absolutely Poppy, there is an Obama effect here. It’s the effect that Barack Obama is no longer President of the United States. That’s why we have a boom!”
Moore then went on to explain the Trump economy and economic successes after Obama’s abysmal recovery. Moore noted that Obama’s recovery was the worst US recovery in a century and he compared Obama’s recovery with the average recovery over the past century. Also, Moore pointed out that Reagan’s recovery was more than twice as robust as Obama’s.
Obama’s economic policies were a nightmare for Americans. As top economist Moore says, Obama did have something to do with the economic turnaround…He was replaced by President Donald J. Trump.
