So I had $20 on last nights drawing and of course didn't hit jack squat, but, no one else won either, so for now the next game is up to $868 MILLION DOLLARS! That will probably go up, but it's an estimated one time pay out of $494.5 MILLION!

No doubt I'll drop some more money on the next drawing, and I don't really care if the chances of winning are in the toilet. My chances of winning are just as good as anyone else's, everyone's chance sucks, period. But man do I have I plans if I won a windfall of money like that. I'd put twitter out of business.

Well, nobody won it, and the new jackpot is $1.6 BILLION, as of right now, and undoubtedly that's going to go up before the drawing.

I didn't hit squat, not even $2. I've been far more lucky playing $5 scratch off games. I'd have to say I'm probably even at least. I won $100 on one last year, and I've hit $20, $30, $40 here and there, and frequently $5 winning my money back. Granted the jackpot on the scratch offs is only a little 5 digit amount, usually like $50,000, and not millions or even billions like the Powerball or Mega Millions, but, which one have I consistently lost more money on? I don't even have to answer that. In any case, yes, I will buy numbers on the next Mega Millions again. The appeal of winning that much money is just too great.

I'm not a gambler. I lived in Nevada for 8 years, the gambling capitol of the WORLD, and if I went into a casino it was to EAT or see a SHOW.

But, I do occasionally buy a couple $5 scratch off tickets, and they are what I'd consider lucky. Earlier this year I won $100, and I've won $20 here, $30, $40 at times, and lots of $5 money back tickets. I'm probably EVEN. Top prize is usually around $50K, which would be a nice little payday.
