O’Neill also ruled Cosby as a “sexually violent predator.” The classification means that Cosby must undergo lifetime counseling and report quarterly to authorities. His name will appear on a sex-offender registry sent to neighbors, schools and victims.

Cosby’s lawyer argued for bail after the ruling, but O’Neill pushed back, saying he will not treat Cosby any differently under the law.

His son has stated that this was the most racist and sexist trial ever. Uhmmm, sorry dude, I didn't see that in the slightest. And he's VERY lucky that it all boiled down to just one woman, and then pushing charges together and reducing the length of any sentence. He was looking at 30 years and everyone knew that.

And a shame that his 30 year sentence was reduced to 3-10 by combining them, and he'll likely get out early. I hope not though. And I hate to sound like a mean bastard, but I hope he croaks in there. If anyone more deserving of prison for rape and sexual assault type crimes, it's this serial bastard.

Yup, but at least he was placed in cuffs and remanded, so if he appeals he'll be doing so while in state prison.

Additionally, the judge has labeled Cosby as a "sexually violent predator" - which changes things drastically on what he must do once out of jail, and things he must deal with. Likely won't be long though, given his age.

“I’ve imposed sentencing at this stage,” said O’Neill. “If you want to take it up with another court, you can.”

Cosby’s lawyers had fought the “sexually violent predator” designation, arguing that Pennsylvania’s sex-offender law is unconstitutional and that he is no threat to the public at his age. But O’Neill said prosecutors had met their burden of proof by “clear and convincing” evidence.

Andrew Wyatt, a spokesman for Cosby, accused Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele of falsifying information during the trial.

“This has been the most racist and sexist trial in the history of the United States. Dr. Cosby has been one of the greatest civil rights leaders in the United States over the last 50 years. He has also been one of the greatest educators of men and boys over the last 50 years. This is not pointed out to the jury or allowed in court because the racist and sexist mass media was attacking and denouncing Dr. Cosby whenever his lawyers even hinted there was racist and sexism present,” said Wyatt.

He continued, “All three of the psychologists who testified against Dr. Cosby were white women who make money off of accusing black men of being sexual predators. It is no accident that prosecutor still works so close with anti-black and anti-male activist groups who tried to extort $100 million from Dr. Cosby in 2014 and continues to produce racist and sexist publicity against him through the 35 clients.

The Montgomery County, Court House where this all took place is only 3 blocks from where I grew up, in Norristown, Pa.
The court house is at Airy, and Swede, and I lived in the 7 hundred block, within sight of the court house.

TRUE story, just too lazy to go find it again now. But Cosby was moved to his new home yesterday, and was served his first dinner - which was some chicken platter with gravy and veggies and bread - and vanilla pudding!! :thumb:
