Sounds like he may be an asshole - but violent rhetoric for saying "If he said go jump off a bridge, she'll jump off a bridge" - he being Trump. Stupid, lame - but far from violent or violent rhetoric. I'm tired of folks finding a "reason of the day" to be offended about something. Decades old accusations and current accusations based off of exaggerated claims like this.

Blackburn hits back at Dem Rep. who wants her to "jump off a bridge", calls it violence against women
Democratic congressman Steve Cohen said recently that he hoped GOP congresswoman Marsha Blackburn would “jump” off a bridge.
The Tennessee Democrat made the comments during an event at Broadway Baptist Church in Memphis. According to audio obtained by the Huffington Post, Cohen said:
“The big orange president … He’s going to come down here and he is going to endorse Marsha Blackburn, because Marsha Blackburn, if he says, ‘Jump off the Harahan Bridge,’ she’ll jump off the Harahan Bridge…I wish he’d say that.”
The audience laughed at Cohen’s remarks. However, Blackburn is not laughing. Abbi Sigler, the spokesperson for the congresswoman, tells The Daily Caller that the comment normalizes “violent rhetoric.”
“The continuous hate and vitriol coming from Tennessee Democrats, coupled with Phil Bredesen’s silence, is shameful. This violent rhetoric isn’t politics as usual, and Mr. Bredesen’s silence on these matters is becoming a pattern. If he won’t stand up to do the right thing at a prayer breakfast at home in Tennessee, he cannot be trusted to do the right thing in Washington. As much as Mr. Bredesen and his Democratic party may personally dislike it, Tennesseans overwhelmingly elected President Trump, and Marsha Blackburn will stand with him and with Tennesseans to do the right thing.”
Cohen did not apologize for the remarks, and said he was “joking.” Blackburn is currently running against Democrat Phil Bredesen, hoping to fill the seat vacated by retiring Sen. Bob Corker.
