Theresa May, I'm sure, wouldn't dream of lending support to Tommy Robinson. Robinson is demonised by the media. In fact, I was watching an ITV News broadcast covering this story, and they announced it by describing Robinson as a 'far-Right activist'.

Calling him 'far Right' has the effect of telling people that he represents no mainstream thinking, and labels him as part of an extremist fringe. The media in general, here, won't hesitate to brand him in this way.

The Daily Mail is one of our more Right wing newspapers. They printed this, though ...

'Tommy Robinson is back in jail. Perversely, for him this is a kind of triumph.

Until his incarceration for contempt of court last week, this football hooligan turned anti-Muslim rabble-rouser and founder of the far Right English Defence League had been fading into an angry obscurity.

When Twitter banned him earlier this year for apparently breaching its 'hateful conduct' policy, he had ranted that the Establishment was out to silence him. Yet few took any notice. That has changed with his imprisonment.

Today, a dubious alliance of individuals and interest groups from across the globe, many of whom had not heard of Robinson before Tuesday, consider him to be a 'martyr', a 'hero' and a 'political prisoner'.

The Twitter hashtag FreeTommyRobinson has gone viral courtesy of the far Right's not insubstantial online community, and messages of support for the father of three from Luton have been posted on social media by such figures as President Donald Trump's eldest son, the disgraced American comedienne Roseanne Barr, Meghan Markle's sister Samantha and even an adviser to the Israeli prime minister.

More than 500,000 people have signed an online petition demanding his release from jail and hundreds of pro-Robinson protesters marched on Downing Street last weekend.

Yesterday, his supporters gathered again in Leeds where he committed the offence. Another 'colossal' march is planned for June 9.

The abiding narrative from his supporters is a classic conspiracy theory: that his imprisonment is part of that Establishment plot.

They claim he was jailed after a politically motivated trial expedited at record speed. His conviction, they add, was kept 'secret' by the State until a reporting ban was overturned.

The intention is not just to silence him, they say — but to silence him for ever: he will likely be murdered behind bars by Islamist extremists while the prison authorities turn a blind eye; Britain has become a police state; etcetera, etcetera.

The truth is rather more mundane.

Robinson, 35, already has criminal convictions for assault, drug possession, passport offences and more recently, mortgage fraud.

On this occasion it was his transgression of the Contempt of Court Act 1981 which landed him in jail' ....

And so it goes on.

The real truth is that Robinson, in the past, has been a voice of protest against the creeping Islamification of Britain. He believes that the culture and beliefs of indigenous people here should really count for something !

Unfortunately, this runs contrary to the 'PC' message which all main political Parties here subscribe to .. one of ultra-tolerance of minorities (and from Labour, the deliberate creation / 'terraforming' of the UK as an all-inclusive Multicultural State'). Any movement fighting that status quo must be opposed, its people branded in a way that society cannot accept.

"We" (non-Muslims and for that matter non-blacks/gays/gun owners, etc) are relegated to second class citizen status. These minority groups all demand the majority conform to THEIR standard(s) and grant them special Rights above all others based on a religion of aberrant behavior.

Unfortunately, the left, in collusion with the media's voice, ensure we are drowned daily into believing they are actually more of the population than they are. The minority muslims in UK dictate freedom of speech. That's crap, in my opinion. It's crap here as well. 13% of the population should not be dictating to 80+% of ANY population.

So it is that figures like Tommy Robinson will always be marginalised. Anyone not fitting the 'PC' picture, is an extremist of some sort, to be regarded as such.

Few here will agree ours is a 'broken' society. Some will say it's evolved for the better. They'll say it, because our Left has had GENERATIONS TO FEED THAT VISION TO PEOPLE.

I don't think Americans grasp the full extent of pernicious influence the Left hopes to inflict in Western Capitalistic societies, and just how they'll succeed, IF given enough opportunities at it.
