Are you excited? I'm heading up to Flagstaff next Wednesday or Thursday. Want some company? You can me your new place, the school maybe lunch or dinner.

I would love to! I've got new teacher institutes though starting on Tuesday-Friday, and then the following Monday. That week is all teacher institutes Tues-Thur institutes with school starting the following week. The institutes are from 7:30-4:30. Long days!

Unlike IL, AZ does not seem to give kids time off to the degree we had for institutes. These are front loaded on the year, then about every other Wed when in session, the students have 'early release' of about 1 hour. The teacher then have meetings for about an hour and a half.

It may come out to the same time, hard to tell. Back home I think there were 3 full day institutes and 3-1/2 day institutes. The front loaded were about the same.

Ok, just keep in mind that I'll be in school at least until 4-though it's close to where I live. ;)
