It occurs to me that with the daily, relentless attacks by and outside of the press on President Trump, his family, his staff, his and his friends, we are looking at bullying on a massive, unprecedented scale. Anyone who claims to be against bullying should be horrified.

And what I said yesterday - had he done what everyone "expected", and waited until he was on the podium, and embarrassed Putin and Russia, he would have been labeled a bully.

He has already been labeled a bully for so many different things. And meanwhile, members of congress, supporters and a long list of others have been so called bullying him from the day he was elected.

I have never seen ANY other president get treated as such, even if the media and others thought they had "the goods" on them.

Tis what it tis I guess.

I actually agree with this in a way. The nonsense on his family; the entire 'resist and impeach;' along with the relentless coverage of Russian collusion, which has turned up zero regarding him or people actually close to him has been unprecedented and unfair. Yet, Trump himself seems to relish the animosity, it energizes him. He's able to say, "Fake news!" and it works like a charm.

On the other hand and it's not just here, his supporters will countenance little discussion on many worrisome aspects of his own behaviors that have brought much of the criticism on. Yesterday with Putin was but one example. For the most part it's dismissed at face value, 'would.' instead of 'wouldn't.' No recognition of context, body language, and the segue to 'brilliant campaign' and his 'winning,' that all belie that excuse.

Not to rehash history, in all honestly I thought it a dirty trick; much like the GW DUI so close to the election, but Trump has never really walked that back, other than brushing it off a 'locker room banter,' which seriously many, including leaders of religious organizations pretty much said they were ok with. Bush had to own up to it, explain the way he'd turned his life around and basically ask for empathy and forgiveness.

What we're left with is one side that won't relent and the other that will support, no matter what.

In all honesty, I don't know long term what this means going forward, but it certainly has caused me to worry.

I just made a comment in another thread that included the same point.

I feel SORRY for our president, because it looks to me like even though it's obvious he loves America and wants to do what's right for our country, the rabid, unhinged left and the deep state Washington establishment of BOTH parties have absolutely been RELENTLESS in BEATING THIS MAN DOWN with EVERYTHING THEY'VE GOT, EVEN UNLAWFUL, LYING AND CORRUPTION since DAY ONE. He can't get a break. It's ALL HANDS ON DECK to FUCK THIS MAN OVER, but it's HANDS OFF when it comes HITLERY, the LEFT or any of the members of the DEEP STATE GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB that's actively engaged in TAKING HIM DOWN. The double standard is enough to make any honest person wince with disgust.

I'm SICK of it. I've never seen a more DISGUSTING display of partisan BULLYING and CORRUPTION in my life. I'm ASHAMED of my government. Course there are those FEW that are trying to fight the good fight AGAINST "the machine," but there just isn't enough of them and they don't have enough POWER.

So when we get to the point where UNELECTED OFFICIALS, "the FBI, the DOJ," can tell their ELECTED OFFICIALS with the POWER OF OVERSIGHT to GO POUND SAND, that they don't have to answer to ANYONE, we should AAAAAALLLL be AFRAID, VERY, AFRAID, because now we're living in a banana republic.

We all know. No matter what Trump says, does, thinks, or DOESN'T say, or do. The typical crybabies, whiners, and snowflakes will instantly be on him like FLIES ON SHIT.

We are seeing the FALL of our nation. Like it or not. Democrats are leading the way, just as Obama did; to bring this nation down by constantly dividing us with LIES, and ACCUSATIONS based on LIES.

I know it sounds silly to some. BUT....History, World History points to something else that is undeniable in 2018. That History...as unwelcome, and unwanted as MOST OF YOU will insist, is as simple as this....

FIVE MINUTES is all it takes. Do you have the courage to listen, and watch?

Instead of HUNDREDS OF YEARS to take place, like the ROMAN empire. Notice how the Muslim Nations of today, appear to be doing the same thing to US, in place of Rome. Socialism, Communism, and Radical Muslim terrorists have the same thing in mind...AND WE are seeing it from the DEMS, started by Obama, with the help of Hillary.

My Opinion:

There is a LEADER in the White House now that will speak his mind.

If he steps on his crank, he will admit to it.

Detractors are scared of a and direct leader.

So what do they do? Hovel underground and defame, accuse, and suggest
subversity.

OBAMA had no balls.

GWB was limited to Pelsoi and Reid....two screaming liberals

Bill Clinton is a coward.

I think, subconsciously, this is why I find myself supporting him now. I despise bullying. I don't like the man personally ... made that clear early on. I do like what he is getting accomplished. I voted on two issues ... SCOTUS and draining the swamp. The swamp includes the main stream media.

I know as well as everyone else what you mean when you refer to "the main stream media." But make no mistake, SL, at this point in time, there is absolutely nothing "main stream" about the majority of media. It's nothing more than the propaganda arm of the democrat party, and today's democrat party has gone full tilt radical left. They are one and the same.

I think mainstream IS left.
