Kicking off his morning remarks, President Trump offers words of encouragement to ICE agents.
In a tweet today, he called the organization “one of the smartest… toughest and most inspired groups of men and women” he had ever seen.
He continued, saying he’s watched ICE ‘liberate towns from the grasp of MS-13 adding that ‘radical Dems’ want the organization out of the picture.
His comments come as democrats double down on their calls to abolish the agency after the president said there was ‘zero chance’ of that happening.

The acting director of ICE may be retiring, but he’s not giving up the fight for immigration reform.
Tom Homan said Democrats need to get their facts straight before protesting and calling for an end to the agency, in an interview Friday.
He said the border patrol not ICE is responsible for separating families at the border, noting the two are separate agencies.
He ultimately blamed Congress for not changing the law to allow families to remain in custody together.
Homan also said he’s insulted by the number of Democrats who are painting the hard working (http://www.oann.com/outgoing-acting-ice-director-slams-dems-for-calls-to-abolish-agency/#) men and women of ICE in a negative light.
He also promised to stay active in the fight against sanctuary cities as a civilian.
