We visited Tracy Arm Fjord and got close to Sawyer Glacier, went ashore in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria BC.

The trip was a "Bucket List" thing, both the Lady and I wanted to take. :mm:

After our next trip to the Philippines(to visit the in-laws), we may move a trip to Alaska ahead of my plan to visit Australia.
I definitely want to visit both places before I wind up in that long dirtnap..- :laugh: -Tyr

The trip was a "Bucket List" thing, both the Lady and I wanted to take. :mm:True story, and it's one of those to each his own things, I guess.

I come back from a 30 day RIMPAC, 3 10-day workups, and a 6 month pump and the wife is like: Let's go on a carnival cruise to Mexico. It'll be romantic.

Translation: I hear boat. Pacific Ocean. Third World Country.

Alternate plan: I take you on a "cruise" down I-5 where you can see the Pacific on the right most of the way to Tijuana where you can get your Third World Country in and we call it a day?

That's when you KNOW there's a definite disconnect going on :laugh:

My wife once came to me while I was planning our vacation and said to me, "This year when we go on vacation I want you to take me some where I've never been before". So I took her to the kitchen. Henny Youngman
