UPDATED 9:27 AM PT — Fri. June 8, 2018House (http://www.oann.com/ryan-putin-no-evidence-2016-trump-campaign-colluded-with-russia/#) Speaker Paul Ryan is coming (http://www.oann.com/ryan-putin-no-evidence-2016-trump-campaign-colluded-with-russia/#) to the president’s defense just one day after taking a different stance on SPYGATE.
Ryan is doubling down, declaring there is no proof of any collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
“There has been no evidence that there has been any collusion between the Trump campaign and President Trump and Russia. let’s just make that very clear, there is no evidence of collusion,” he stated.
His comments come as Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe enters its second year after costing American taxpayers about $17 million so far.
The speaker’s comments were echoed that same day on the other side of the world.
At a televised Townhall session, Russian President Vladimir Putin brushed off concerns of so-called collusion as “nonsense” and “something that can only be called a joke.”
“So recently one of the very popular media outlets in Germany wrote that President Trump is pushing Europe into Russia’s hands,” said Putin. “If we combine this with an earlier joke that Russia interfered in the U.S. election, then all this sounds rather funny (http://www.oann.com/ryan-putin-no-evidence-2016-trump-campaign-colluded-with-russia/#) – we allegedly meddled into the U.S. election of the president, and he gave us Europe for that”.
This comes on the heels of the House Intelligence Committee releasing its final report on the matter back in April.
The heavily redacted 250-plus page document was unable to find proof of Democrat’s claims the president’s team “colluded, conspired or coordinated” with Moscow.
Ryan is also leading the charge to get important documents from the DOJ concerning a possible government informant placed in the Trump campaign despite his own reservations on the idea.
“It shouldn’t take a speaker of the House to have to get involved every one of these times to get the Department of Justice or any department and the executive branch to comply with congressional oversight requests,” stated Ryan. “That’s what’s frustrating to us — we are waiting for more document requests, we have more documents to review, we still have questions.”
On Wednesday, the Justice Department announced it will brief lawmakers again on the situation in the coming days.

$17M and counting. That's the price some are willing to pay rather than face reality. Could buy a LOT of therapy for losers in denial with that kind of scratch.
