No, I'm all gassed up, brother...
I cut up two RR ties and then cleaned up my veranda, then dug out another RR tie and dug a 25' ditch from the house to the shop to bury the cable for TV and covered it, then did weed trimming, then washed the loaner car, picked up and put away, cleaned off the John Deere, went to the store and bought Pabst, JD and cigs, and just now calling it a day.
I've been posting while I take breaks. When the sweat is dripping off me so bad I can barely see because it's in running in my eyes I take a break.

I've got some cactus that needs to be removed if you run out of things to do.

I wouldn't go near Cholla cactus. Already had a run in those... throw a chain around the bottom of it and pull it... then burn it...

We chop arms off with shovel and put in garbage. We don't burn here ... too dry.

Dang... I couldn't live without being able to have a campfire. I have huge ones... I have a huge tractor wheel for a campfire pit, and I even throw things in that overhang that...

Yeah, if traffic here were like Chicago, people would be road ragin' right and left.

Yeah I remember Arizona... it was a fun time to live there for awhile but I'm glad I'm not there now.
My mom loved it there... Apache Junction, it was a fun place, I loved Goldfield, go up to the Mammoth Bar and listen to the McNasty Brothers, and there was a bar in AJ called Los Vaqueros, funnest bar I've ever been in in my life.

I have a friend that lives in Minnesota for summer and comes to Tucson during winters. He has friends in Apache Junction and he goes over about once a month to do karoke. I've never been there. Maybe Kathianne and I will go someday.

I've got a bunch of applications out right now for part time work, we need to get together soon! Otherwise it will be school bells ringing!

That's the only place I'd ever consider living if I HAD to live in Phoenix, over against the Superstitions, the east end of Phoenix. Traffic is still kinda bad but nothing compared to Phoenix, even Mesa. Go up to Tortilla Flats, nice drive up past the lake. But stop in Goldfield and hit the Mammoth Bar, maybe the McNasty Brothers will be playing... I love these guys... used to wear all my period cowboy stuff to the Mammoth like many others do... ;)
The vid is at the Mining Camp restaurant which is right across the highway from Goldfield and the Mammoth...

My neighbors are campground hosts up close to Flagstaff for the summer. Planning on going up there this month. Will probably drive through your town on the way unless we go to New Mexico first. I'll contact you when plans are more solidified.

THAT was some serious culture shock for me when I lived in IL. They burn everything they can that'll burn. Crap we have to dispose of properly here. It took awhile to get used to being able to do that.
Here you can set half the state on fire. You can't even buy fireworks here. Have to go outside the country and they're STILL illegal to bring into the city.
