Oh, this would be a dream come true for me to ride Eagle into port!

I wanted assigned to her so badly when I first enlisted. I knew 3
Bos'uns who were 'Mainmast Captains' on her.

Damn - they were all superb on the Bos'un Call (Pipe)!

Just before I retired, I was able to take some of my "Chirrun" on a dependants ride outbound from Portland Maine.

What a lovely trip, we motored out to the channel, then they raised sail. :salute:
